Amazing
BBells on the roadArrived late just after Midnight, no one around, had to wander around shouting for someone, so we could check in. Eventually we found people setting up a meeting room. Room was clean although a little tired looking. No shower gel. The room was on the main walk way and joined the stairs, so very noisy in the morning. Also at 9am, cleaner knocked and tried to access room, fortunately we had locked the door. Breakfast was good, although the hot food was dry and overcooked. Internet speed was OK and TV needs updating.
GGuest UserMy friend and I booked this hotel for one night's stay with breakfast included. Travelling down from Yorkshire, we had tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup to watch England and Delta's location was convenient for Northampton's Cinch Stadium.
We've not stayed at this particular Marriott establishment before but the price was reasonable and the reviews appeared positive.
We cannot fault the place; it was absolutely perfect!
The staff were all so welcoming, especially the gentleman on reception. Friendly, pleasant, helpful and engaging, offering advice and information on the surrounding areas; nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and that included our spacious twin room. Fittings and furnishings were of a very good standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. There's a nice ambience and our short stay was very relaxed and peaceful.
We had breakfast on site, at the Cast Iron Grill and it was delicious with so much variety. There's also the ”Grab and Go” food station, in the lobby with snacks and drinks available 24/7.
Despite the hotel being near the M1, the surrounding area is beautiful and picturesque, surrounded by fields with a nearby lake; it's ideal for a leisurely walk.
There's also ample car parking on site, which is complimentary.
Overall, an excellent experience and we highly recommend this hotel. Thank you.
GGuest UserNice hotel that we haven’t visited for a few years because of price increases. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Check in good and great staff all round. Only problems were the bed is much smaller than in Holiday Inn Express , the shower had no connection strip to connect panel to bath therefore a flooded floor, also no full length mirror for dressing.
GGuest UserGreat accommodation, it’s was exactly advertised.
The food was excellent we experienced the evening menu which was fabulous with lots of choice. Again breakfast was fabulous and the service was outstanding at all points of our stay.
Well done and thank you to everyone
GGuest UserThis Hotel is in a good location, with walks around and close to Olney and Northampton.
The staff are lovely and the Spa is really good!
However, on Trip.com the hotel is advertising a picture of a pool. This pool does not exist. Please advise the hotel to that this down.
Overall, a nice place to stay for a few days!!
__SophieThe hotel is next to Lakeside, the surrounding environment is good, the hotel has free parking, the place is large, self-driving does not have to worry about parking. The hotel staff is very warm and friendly.
JJatlegendUnfortunately booked a twin room. Beds not that comfortable and hat to sleep on the spare quilt to remove some of the lumps from the mattress. Went to reception both days to speak to someone but no one around. Will stay again but make sure I do not book a twin room
