GGuest UserWe have been happy with the location, only that our room was downstairs and located right across from the toilets for the pub. It was very noisy. And you couldn't open the window, cause the window is towards the courtyard and there was a table right in front of the window and people who visit the pub can sit at tables in the courtyard.
We would stay again but with a room upstairs 😉

AAnonymous UserThe service of this hotel is very good. The owner even wrote a letter to the guests staying in the hotel. The hotel looks like a castle. According to the hotel staff, the hotel facilities are very historical. The breakfast is very rich, and you can eat a full Scottish breakfast. The hotel parking is very convenient, just at the door. There are plenty of parking spaces, suitable for self-driving. There are no other facilities around the hotel, which is very suitable for accommodation on the way from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands.

for reasons entirely out of my control, I had to cancel my stay 24hrs beforehand. I called to let them know. I advised I had to cancel and the reply was (word for word)
” ok , that's still chargeable”. NO ' I'm sorry to hear that' NO ”maybe we can find another date so you don't lose your money”... no ' we can't refund you but do you want a credit on account'.
if I'd have phoned 12 hours earlier my money would have been refunded or I could have amended my booking.
the blame was put on TRIP as I was told ' you booked through them and they wont help you.
So I'll be avoiding this place when I go up for my trip, and I'd advise others to avoid places with staff as uninterested as here.

FFrancoise Jeanne MTrès bon accueil. Chambres parfaites, très joliment décorées et une excellente literie.
Nous avons également pris le repas du soir au restaurant. Très bon mais pas tout à fait du niveau d'un gastronomique. Néanmoins, nous avons passé une très bonne soirée. Le bar aussi était très chaleureux et le petit-déjeuner parfait. Enfin, le parc est très beau. On a juste manqué de temps pour en profiter d'avantage.
Nous avons même oublié quelque chose dans la chambre (de valeur sentimentale). L’hôtesse a promis de nous le faire parvenir par la poste (à nos frais, bien sûr). C'est tout à fait charmant.
Nous recommandons très chaleureusement cet hôtel.
