Amazing
TTobeThe location of the hotel is in a small alley, and it is very easy to find less than five minutes away from the airport. I must thank the boss and the boss's brother for picking up the plane. As a result, the plane was delayed. His brother waited for us at the airport for a long time. The boss was very enthusiastic and we exchanged $100 for us without local currency.
FFirstmanonearthIt was a relaxing stay. The front desk was so friendly (as most tajik people i met in the country, really) and so helpful. They can assist you with airport transfers and money changing. While I didn’t get to take advantage of it, they also have free laundry and apparently snacks and drinks available for most of the day at the lobby which is a nice touch. The pool was refreshing and the ambiance of the whole place was just very inviting. I used the gym which had a decent setup, though the dumbbells stop at 50lbs and the only bench for barbell pressing was a bit rough to use and unstable. The breakfast was varied, with delicious beans and chicken, grilled vegetables, various cheeses, meat slices, sausages, salad toppings, and more. The real standout personally was the dessert. Brownies dripping with peanut butter and chocolate sauce and danish with berries, it was amazing! Will definitely stay again 👍
GGuest UserThe true test of a hotel lies in its details, and Hotel Isfara truly felt like a warm home in Dushanbe! I spent three days in Dushanbe, and my overwhelming impression of Hotel Isfara was its blend of 'professionalism' and 'warmth'. From the front desk to housekeeping, every staff member greeted me with a smile, and their English communication was excellent, which is incredibly important for foreign travelers. The room details were well-executed: power outlets were conveniently placed and compatible with various plugs without needing an adapter; the shower had stable water pressure and hot water came on instantly – a lifesaver for a weary traveler. I particularly want to commend their room service; they were incredibly responsive. Whether I needed a hairdryer or extra bottles of water, they were delivered within minutes. The hotel is located on the main street, making it very cheap to take a taxi to the main square and the bazaar. If you're looking for an accommodation that is both respectable and personable, Hotel Isfara will not disappoint.
SsobirgafurHyatt Regency Dushanbe is a good international hotel that stands out in the city. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the mountains. The cleaning is high-quality, the bed linen is fresh. The staff tries to be attentive and friendly, most issues are resolved quickly.
Breakfasts are delicious and varied, but sometimes the dishes are repeated from day to day. The restaurant is generally good, although the prices are above the city average. The spa and pool are a nice addition, but I would like the equipment in the fitness room to be updated more often.
Sometimes there may be delays in service in the lobby or restaurant, and the Wi-Fi speed is not always stable. Nevertheless, overall this is probably the best option for a comfortable holiday or business trip to Dushanbe.
XxlsgldThe room was very large and new, and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle service (which is a great service for foreigners in Dushanbe where ride-hailing services are inconvenient). I highly recommend staying here.
ZZiyoviddinWe stayed at Safar Hotel for 3 days in rooms 207 and 407. Breakfast started at 8:10, but it was not at all what we expected—just simple eggs and sausages, though we were hoping for a buffet. When we asked to have breakfast prepared earlier, they flat-out refused. The indoor and outdoor pools were great, and the hotel staff spoke Chinese, which was nice. However, in room 407, the toilet lid was broken. We didn’t notice at first, but in the end, we were made to pay for it. Despite our explanations, they still charged us a 150 somoni fine. Long story short, we left very upset on the last day. We kindly request the hotel owners to refund the unfairly charged amount.
DDave from SomervilleShoes-off but will.accept clean indoor slippers. Electric supply needs attention. Otherwise good.-- Classic backpacker hostel- old maps on wall, stickers from all over (even Wall Drug), great huge old mansion with courtyard, plenty of bathrooms, walkable from downtown, clean sheets and blanket, spacious old school kitchen, decent service, the dorm room is large open-bay with twin sized beds, no bunks, en suite bathroom, rickety but functional A/C unit. I spoke to the manager about Electric service as my charger wire fried when I connected it to an extension cord; that they apparently came and removed from the room. Bed had 2 springs out of whack producing pressure points; I remedied by sleeping on the thick clean comforter they provided- slept well- place has good vibes. Manager aware of electricity issue. Place needs some work but is obviously a potential backpacker haven for Dushanbe- maybe already is- many international nice folks there when I stayed. I really am hoping they can resource for a few updates on the electric, and the dorm room (I think I am partial due to stays at Desti hostels around China). I would say please support this place but inquire about the electric socket you need to use.
GGuest UserStaff are nice, helpful especially the two receptionists who can speak good English Room is big with fridge ,bottled water, ammenities, TV. Location is good, close to bus station . You can also walk to many supermarkets, attractions. The only drawback is the WiFi is not very stable sometimes!
