FFirstmanonearthIt was a relaxing stay. The front desk was so friendly (as most tajik people i met in the country, really) and so helpful. They can assist you with airport transfers and money changing. While I didn’t get to take advantage of it, they also have free laundry and apparently snacks and drinks available for most of the day at the lobby which is a nice touch. The pool was refreshing and the ambiance of the whole place was just very inviting. I used the gym which had a decent setup, though the dumbbells stop at 50lbs and the only bench for barbell pressing was a bit rough to use and unstable. The breakfast was varied, with delicious beans and chicken, grilled vegetables, various cheeses, meat slices, sausages, salad toppings, and more. The real standout personally was the dessert. Brownies dripping with peanut butter and chocolate sauce and danish with berries, it was amazing! Will definitely stay again 👍

11392843****There is a staff member named Adbu at the front desk, who has a very bad attitude. Every time I meet him, he has a poker face and is very impatient when asking him any questions. On the day we left, we asked him to help call a taxi, but it didn't come after waiting for 20 minutes. He would not help us follow up and just let us wait, but the taxis he called for other guests came.

GGuest UserAt first, I used *********** to select another newly opened 5-star hotel. The result was disappointing, so I chose the Serena Hotel again on Ctrip. It was very comfortable to stay in, and the breakfast was very rich and suitable for Chinese appetite.

AasasasasasasasasThe hotel is in a good location, about 15 minutes walk to Somoni Square, the surrounding environment is good, there are not many restaurants. The hotel arranges airport pick-up service, which is very convenient. It is about 4 kilometers away from the airport.
I thought Asia Hotel might have Chinese service, but unfortunately there is no 🈚.

GGuest UserVery good, the lady boss took the initiative to help us change to a bigger room, and also provided airport drop-off service the next day. It is really a very good hotel, and the proprietress is very kind. I didn't expect to be able to stay in such a good hotel in Tajikistan.

TTopperUKVery central, directly next to post office and train station. A very Chinese-centric hotel, hence why only available on trip.com one assumes. Staff were confused how I was able to book this hotel!
Massive room and quite modern, but…. Typical poor Chinese building standards. Plumbing smelt and a delightful piece of poo came floating out of the shower pan drain one morning. Suffice to say, I was somewhat disturbed.
The next day when a cockroach (I assume?) decided to fly (quite literally) out of the AC unit onto my bed, I woke up quite quickly, I must say!
Electric toilet was curious, if not a little confusing!
Lots of bathroom accessories though.
Get the plumbing fixed and the… hygiene looked into, and it would be very reasonable.
