It’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah. You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down. Our stay at Ycona Zanzibar was absolutely incredible. The level of customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Any time something wasn’t available, they would find a way to make it up to us with something even better. The entire team was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and caring. They represented the warmth and hospitality of the Zanzibari people in such a positive way, and they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The resort itself was beautiful, luxurious, and had a very upscale feel while still being comfortable and relaxing. The food was also excellent, with plenty of delicious options throughout our stay. Thank you to the entire Ycona team for making our honeymoon so memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend Ycona to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

There is no beach at all. You have to take the hotel's boat to get there. This is the most expensive hotel in that row, but it's really average. It costs $20 to snorkel. There is also an island, but we went there for one day because it rained and we didn't get to go. The whole accommodation experience was very bad, but the swimming pool was very good. There was no place to eat outside. The hotel dinner was at your own expense, all of which were Western food, which was ok.

Loved every day spent there! Beautiful place, efficient and lovely customer service. Their house keeping is like no other. My experience at Azao Resort is one for the books! I highly recommend staying there

the final bill was higher than what we used, so... The check-out time is until 10, although when we ordered in the online system it was written that until 11 o'clock. Staying in the room until 11 was not allowed. The food is delicious, but I saw the waiter putting the food that fell out back into the dish. Some of the staff are very polite, but certainly not all. The location is great, the beach too. We bought the tours from the locals outside the hotel gate, it was cheaper and an interesting experience.
