"My stay at this hotel I can call mostly positive . We received all necessary information from the staff on arrival . Our room was okay , except bathroom . It should be renovated cause our drain was clogged and water didn’t go down . Another issue we have with a staff member who responsible for trips . We agreed for some price and then he changed agreement right before departure so we didn’t proceed and found another taxi . And the main issue was the ocean - on this side of the island almost impossible to enjoy swimming- seaweed is everywhere ."

"We liked the hotel; the staff was very polite and helped us with every question. The rooms are spacious and have everything we needed. The road to the beach is not very good, and there's a lot of trash, but that's typical of Zanzibar. We had a great time."

It costs $20 to snorkel. There is also an island, but we went there for one day because it rained and we didn't get to go. The whole accommodation experience was very bad, but the swimming pool was very good. There was no place to eat outside. The hotel dinner was at your own expense, all of which were Western food, which was ok."

"Our stay at Ycona Zanzibar was absolutely incredible. The level of customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. Any time something wasn’t available, they would find a way to make it up to us with something even better.
The entire team was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and caring. They represented the warmth and hospitality of the Zanzibari people in such a positive way, and they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
The resort itself was beautiful, luxurious, and had a very upscale feel while still being comfortable and relaxing. The food was also excellent, with plenty of delicious options throughout our stay.
Thank you to the entire Ycona team for making our honeymoon so memorable. We would gladly return and highly recommend Ycona to anyone visiting Zanzibar."
