GGuest UserAs the name implies, these are serviced apartments, it’s not a hotel. The location is slightly further from the beach than most tourist conveniences, but Paje is not big (we’re talking anbout 350m), and not being on the centre of tourism suits me better. It is quiet, has everything one needs, and John, the manager, was great. I would definitely stay here again.
The only thing I might suggest was a discomfort, was that when we had one of the notorious big island-wide blackouts for almost 12 hours, Nebo wasn’t the most prepared. I actually come from a country that has struggled with constant electricity for several years. Generators, solar lights, and more than anything, reassurance for tourists who may not know the area, are useful. The cooker is gas, and cellphones come with torches, so I was completely fine. It just would have been good I think, given how quiet it was, to check.
I’d still recommend it.

GGuest UserThis is my second trip to Marea (previously under another name but with the same owners). I only want to talk about how much I like it if you all promise not to book in for the same weeks that I visit again. It’s quiet, which I love, but within walking distance of busier Paje. The rooms are clean, well-sized, have aircon, fans and cute balconies. Some of the rooms have just been redesigned, and I know there are more upgrades in the works. It has a wonderful Neapolitan restaurant, which is helpful because you don’t ever feel like you *need* to hunt for other food. It has a perfectly sized pool which never feels crowded, and not being in the centre of the resort, doesn’t come with lots of eyes gazing in your direction. Most of all, the staff are fantastic. They always have a smile and a kind word. Service is good and easy. It’s a great find for those looking for a boutique family run resort that also doesn’t break the bank.

GGuest UserCheck in was not to nice and matrasses were so hard and uncomfortable. Room had weird smell and wvwn though I was on honeymoon they gave mw pool rooom on ground flooe whwre i coupdnt wvwn open wimdow bc people were passing.
Resort is beautiful though... Beach and 2 big swimming pools. Animation area with table tennis and billiard and other social gamea.
We say gym and kids club but didn't newd it
Animation team was great as well as waiters ans servers
We took all inclusive option and wnjoyed resort

JJacqueline KarikariI am a solo traveler and I was looking for a hotel to rest after my crazy stopovers throughout Zanzibar. The entire hotel team took great care of me. I didn't lack anything. The room was spacious and beautiful with the swimming pool and the small garden. The area is very wooded which means you can come across friendly little animals. Thank you again to the entire team at The Résidence hotel for all the care taken during my stay.

Если кратко - это райский отель в очень красивом месте с прекрасной территорией, просторными номерами, очень приветливым персоналом и чудесной кухней.
Но по порядку. В отель мы приехали после двухдневного сафари и нашей целью был полный релакс вдали от шума и суеты. И это оправдалось на 100%.
РАСПОЛОЖЕНИЕ. Зависит от ваших целей. Если цели совпадают с нашими - полный релакс в уединённом месте с питанием внутри отеля, то расположение просто идеальное. Если вы хотите, например, питаться в других местах или проводить вечера вне отеля, то придётся пользоваться такси или арендной машиной.
ОТЕЛЬ. Прекрасная ухоженная территория, чистый бассейн, отличные виды на океан и удобный спуск в море по ступенькам. На територии есть мини ферма специй, по которой вам может провести бесплатную экскурсию персонал с рецепции. Бассейн чистый, его можно использовать без ограничений по времени.
НОМЕРА. Просторные, если не сказать огромные, чистые, у нас была лоджия с видом на море. Есть всё необходимое. Вода! Говорят, что на Занзибаре водой из-под крана нельзя даже чистить зубы. Мы чистили, всё в порядке, разве что вода чуть солоноватая на вкус (об этом нас предупредили на рецепции). Вода в бутылках для питья обновляется каждый день.
ПЕРСОНАЛ. Абсолютно идеальный - очень приветливы, помогают по любому вопросу - доставить багаж, продумать маршрут (мы брали машину для поездок в ресторан The Rock, Jozani Forest и т.д.), экскурсия на по своей ферме специй, помощь в ресторане - всё было очень уютно.
РЕСТОРАН. Еда выше всяких похвал, ну прям высокая кухня по местным меркам. Единственное - готовят на обед/ужин долго, но если вы, как мы, никуда не спешите, то это будет особенностью, а не недостатком. Цены средние для Занзибара, всё очень вкусно и красиво. Завтрак отличный - на заказ, вкусно и достаточно всего. Обязательно попробуйте сок из авокадо - мы его пили литрами и хотим теперь повторить эксперимент дома))
МОРЕ И ОТЛИВЫ. В приливы можно купаться со ступенек, в отливы можно застать потрясающие виды - здесь отливы очень красивые.
ПАРКОВКА. Мы брали машину для поездок, её можно припарковать на территории отеля под навесом, в километре от отеля есть заправка.
ОБЩЕЕ ВПЕЧАТЛЕНИЕ. Вспоминаем как 3 дня в раю! Выражаем благодарность всем сотрудникам отеля (шеф-повару ресторана отдельный привет), спасибо за ваши старания!

OOkuhleAbsolutely loved our stay at Kwanza, my mom and I had the best time. We were greeted by Caroline who always had a smile. Lucky was so jolly and helpful with our bags. Ahamed was always ready to assist with any and everything. The rooms were spacious and clean though there was a day where housekeeping forgot to come and spray the mosquito repellent. We had the best spa day and would highly recommend the full package. The food was exceptional and plentiful, we got the all inclusive package so we had all meals served and would recommend that as the resort is located far from other places. The bar service though needs improving as they were slow because there was only one server per bar but the cocktails were great!! I had forgotten my phone at one of the bathrooms and it was returned to me before I even noticed so the place is very safe.

GGuest UserThis hotel deserves special attention, especially for those who would like to have a premium vacation, but are limited in budget.
The villas are luxurious, spacious, all privately located with a garden and private pool. You can't see or hear your neighbors. It reminds me of the Maldives, only there such rooms cost thousands of dollars.
The territory is large, well-groomed, very clean, it is pleasant to walk along it, those who take care of it deserve a gold medal.
The hotel security in the form of Masai warriors is very unusual, it adds its own twist.
Panoramic open-air restaurant. The views are stunning.
The beach is clean, private, there is no one except hotel guests, the sand is white and soft. The ocean is clean. The time of the ebb and flow of the tide is convenient. The tides are early in the morning and after lunch, when the sun is no longer aggressive.
Perhaps there is not such a variety in the choice of dishes, but it is delicious. Freshly squeezed juices for breakfast. The staff may not be as well trained, but this is reflected in the price. And still, a big thank you to them. I really liked it and highly recommend it.

KKhamutovskayaThe idea itself is good, but the management is not organized. The reception and cafe are terribly outdated. The pool needs to be updated. The situation in the room is better, but there are stains on the walls, furniture damaged by floods and curtains that do not close (they need to be rolled up and wrapped with tape in the middle.
