Off the beaten path but so worth it! The cabin was beautiful and rustic with a fireplace and the sounds of a flowing river near. At the lodge there was 7:00pm Hot chocolate chip cookies and milk as well as a firepit and smore kits! The grounds were beautiful and tranquil with a small waterfall, bridge, and pond. The hot breakfast was also great! Felt like a step back in time with personal, cozy facilities and personal service & accommodations of the past.
Stayed overnight to finally see the Oregon caves. It was the perfect stop from Sacramento. Th lobby was clean and staff was welcoming.
We arrived past 8 pm and was happy that they had hot water for tea and regular and decaffeinated coffee around the clock.
I can’t say anything about breakfast since we slept through it.
Our room was surprisingly spacious, linens were nice and clean. The room had a TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a safe.
There were face, hand and bath towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel and hand soap.
Definitely one I will go back to should I need to stay overnight in the area.
A few pieces of bread and cereal for breakfast, there is really nothing to eat, three tables, so it is best to pack it back to the room to eat. The hotel does not have a refrigerator, microwave, and affordable motel.
