TTraveling TanThe Hampton Inn Newark Airport is a conveniently located hotel just 10 minutes from the airport. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the room was a good size. However, I found my legs and feet itchy after sleeping in the bed, so I would recommend that the housekeeping staff focus on cleaning the bedding more thoroughly. The check-in process was a little cumbersome because I didn't have an international debit or credit card, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to people who are looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay near the airport.
Here are some specific things that could be improved:
The bedding could be cleaned more thoroughly to remove any allergens that may be causing the itching.
The check-in process could be streamlined for guests who do not have an international debit or credit card. For example, the hotel could create a process where cash can be accepted for incidentals without having to wait to get approval from the manager.
Overall, I had a positive experience at the Hampton Inn Newark Airport. I would recommend it to people who are looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay near the airport.
GGeorge A. SchmidThe location near the airport is great, BUT you need a PhD in Transportation to navigate the spaghetti web of roads surrounding Newark Airport. More than once I found myself in the wrong lane and onto a road I didn't want to be on. Going back is never an easy task. Once, I accidentally entered the NJ Turnpike. The hotel was clean, as was my room. The breakfast was free and good. But the parking was terrible. Both nights I was there the lot filled up and I had to park, at the direction and approval of hotel staff, in No Parking zones. Navigating the location and the full parking detracted from what would have been otherwise a grand stay.
GGuest UserIt is surrounded by highways, so it is extremely difficult to get there by car. The shuttle vans from the airport are black and white, making them difficult to distinguish.
GGuest Useroverall the hotel was not bad it smelled amazing as soon as you walked in…the room was beautiful only thing i didn’t like was this big white thing inside the room which was kind of weird.Bathroom was beautiful but my toilet seat was really loose. There was a centipede in my room that totally freaked me out…a couple hairs in my bed and in the shower.Breakfast says it starts at 6:30am i went up to the 9th floor exactly at 6:30am and the lady who made the breakfast said it didn’t start till 7am.So i waited came back and ate and the food was horrible literally the sausage was dry and the potatoes were not fully cooked.I give this hotel a 3.8 review just minor changes that’ll make it a full 5 star. The picture i attached is of the centipede that freaked me out.
BBhatiaStayed here after a late night flight into EWR. The hotel had a free shuttle that picked us from the airport. The staff was very welcoming despite our late check in and short stay. Rooms were clean and comfy!
GGuest UserThe smell of paint is indeed strong. I don't know if the furniture is painted or something.
The front desk service is good and the guy is very friendly.
I didn't have breakfast because I had an early flight. I guess there are only a few options. Breakfast in American hotels is quite impetuous.
SSICHAOOK, business trips can live, the environment is general, breakfast is general, there is not much choice for breakfast, the taste is general, the price is good. Suitable for business trips, it is general
