GGuest UserVery new hotel, clean and tidy, the service staff has been smiling, the breakfast buffet restaurant service staff has been cleaning up the tabletop and adding food, it must be said that the people in the American town are more nice
AAnonymous UserThere were other cheaper hotels I could have chosen but this one had free breakfast on Christmas morning so that was what got my attention.
When I arrived at my room, it was very cold. The fan was set for AC. And on Christmas Eve, we didn't need cold air.
This was the first domino that made a series of unfortunate events:
I tried to set the fan to heat but it looks like it is set only for AC or fan (blowing cold air). We were just too tired to call the front desk to request a different room. My girlfriend then took a shower with super hot water. She didn't turn on the fan in the bathroom or close the door as she wanted our room to heat up. The vapor got soooooo thick in the room that it set off the fire alarm.
I jumped on the bed looking for the reset button but I cut my finger in the process. There was no silence or reset button.
I called the office right away when the alarm turned off and explained the situation.
I feel sorry for the few guests that stayed that night.
The hotel is in excellent condition, one of the best maintained in Yakima.
I just wanted to add that we people do goofy things and what we did was goofy. I know we would not have set the alarm off if the air fan could be arranged from AC to hot air given that it is December and we don't need AC in the room, just a thought.
GGuest UserGreat time but book the room for 130 then decide to book for another night for 130 I'm pretty much got bummed out when we realized online from the hotel was 85 wondering if we got a great deal I know it was a great stay will stay again but really looking for that discount and I was stoked to get a free drink and snack on my birthday but yet the second day they completely ran out of breakfast so make sure you're the first 25 to get a sack breakfast or you won't get one
GGuest UserThis Hotel is in a convenient location but it’s definitely outdated. Our room was clean but had a moldy smell to it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The back area where our room was located looked a bit unsafe.
AAlbertsonThe room was very clean but the staff wasn’t very nice. For a late checkout I was charged $50 and apparently normal use of a towel meaning it had been used meant that the towel was now ruined and that they were trying to. Charge me $100 bucks for a towel that wasn’t even stained…. After already paying for my room my kids and I went to get dinner and came back the the owner approached us as if we were trespassing and was very rude to me and my kids after we informed them that we had already paid for our room and we’re supposed to be there yet he acted like it meant that since we had left we were no longer guests or something. He was very rude and did not make it feel welcoming at all. Also there is not free breakfast and there is no coffee pots.
