"We arrived quite late, and the owner was still waiting for us at the village entrance. The room was clean and tidy, and the elderly and children all liked it very much. The owner had ******* clothing available for rent for makeup and styling. The owner was very hospitable, and the experience was very good. The cat was also very friendly. It was at the door when we arrived, and it followed us into the room and stayed there. When we washed up, it followed us to the bathroom. The children especially loved it. Before leaving, they specifically asked the owner if he would sell the cat, but he said he didn't sell stray cats, which was a pity. When the children got home, they said they missed the cat."

MMiqi-CMXXIIIEvery detail here absolutely radiates authentic ******* charm! From the intricately painted beams and columns to the hand-woven yak wool blankets, from the exquisite copper butter lamps to the vibrant Thangka murals, this guesthouse seamlessly blends traditional ******* aesthetics into every nook and cranny. The owner truly treats guests like family, greeting us with a ceremonial white Hada the moment we arrived. Each evening, they thoughtfully brought warm butter tea to our room and shared local legends, speaking in earnest, albeit broken, Chinese. What truly stayed with me was opening my window in the crisp morning to see prayer flags fluttering against the majestic backdrop of snow-capped mountains, with the gentle chime of yak bells carried on the breeze. It felt as if the entire plateau was whispering a welcome. This is more than just a place to stay; it's an immersive dive into ******* culture. My soul felt utterly filled with purity and warmth. If you're looking to experience the most authentic Tibet, look no further than this guesthouse!
HhelloyeppTibetan-style homestay, the picture is taken with the original camera without filter. I like this style very much. It was designed by someone with a certain aesthetic taste.
The service at the B&B was very enthusiastic. We arrived very late due to traffic jam on May Day. The girl from the B&B came out to pick us up. The yak beef hotpot was already prepared on the table, and she waited for us to finish eating. We were also given a free upgrade to a suite.
The ******* breakfast the next morning was very unique. There was also a cat cafe in the B&B. The barley coffee was both beautiful and delicious. The cats were also very cute, with two very adorable kittens. The baby likes playing with the cat all the time. Thank you for tolerating this naughty child.
Before leaving, she gave us handmade sachets and specifically told us to take good care of the children.
Will definitely recommend to friends.
GGuest UserIt is highly recommended if the weather is not cold. The scenery outside is beautiful and the independent cabin is very quiet. It feels pretty good. It would be a waste to just stay one night without taking pictures😂
The cleanliness of the house is also okay. Sister Zang helped carry the suitcase when we arrived. They didn't speak Chinese and were very friendly.
They also have a restaurant. To be honest, I don’t recommend it. The yak meat is too thick and difficult to digest. The breakfast is not very recommended either.
GGuest UserStaying at Kang Sang's Home is the true encounter with the gentleness and healing power of Tibet. The guesthouse is built in an authentic ******* courtyard style, with a subtle ******* incense aroma permeating the air. Prayer flags, carvings, and ethnic-style furnishings showcase meticulous attention to detail, filling every corner with a human touch. The rooms are bright, clean, and odor-free, and essential high-altitude amenities like warmth and hot water are readily available, ensuring a comfortable stay. The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly, offering opportunities to chat about local customs and traditions. The simple breakfasts are hearty and delicious. Away from the hustle and bustle, tranquility and comfort await. Slow down here and experience the unique serenity of Tibet – the warmest refuge on any trip.
GGuest UserVery good stay experience, also came here after reading online reviews saying the environment is good, the service is good, the hygiene is good, and the boss is good. The boss helped to take the suitcase upstairs. It is very quiet, very stylish, and has a beautiful art space.

GGuest UserWe were four girls and the owner was really nice. The room was very unique. He brought us hot water and blankets at night. We drove there ourselves, and he patiently showed us where to park. We'll definitely stay here again next time! Five-star recommendation!
GGuest UserThe location is quite far from the bus station, and unfortunately as it was peak season no taxi could take us due to the traffic jam - our only option was to walk the 3km with our bags. There are not many restaurants very close by as it is in a very quiet part of the city. However the location is very convenient for visiting the monastery, just a short walk away. The window for the room looks into the internal courtyard, which you need to be conscious of in regards to privacy.
GGuest UserThe hotel is excellent, and the service is good. Parking is available on both sides of the street in front of the hotel, though you might not find a spot if you arrive late. It's very close to Labrang Monastery, just a short walk away. Highly recommended.
RRaffinettiThe staff and surroundings were excellent. The hotel itself is a mixed bag: a beautiful lobby but the room itself was disappointing: quite dirty, with a desperate need of a renovation. We also received a very dirty towel. The curtains and bed sheets had holes in them.
EElsemieke de BoerI really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need.
