We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.

Stayed 2 nights while in Nuremberg at the Hampton and found it to be perfectly fine. It's a short 5 minute walk if that from the station past all the other hotels - Motel One , Leonardo, Novotel and Premier Inn so the area is well lit and very safe. The U2 train from the airport to Nuremberg Hauptbahnhof / station service is excellent. Checkin was quick and allocated room on the 5th floor facing the street - there was no noise during the night so the sound proofing must have been good. The room was a good size, compact yet functional. The bed was clean and actually very comfortable , nice and firm , I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was fine, again it was compact but it did the job. Easy to use shower, toiletries fixed to the wall as seems to be the case these days. Towels were a little thin but that's a minor issue. Wifi was free and easy to connect , the complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch and overall a pretty decent room , well appointed and clean. Wardrobe space was limited but sufficient for a short stay. The free Hampton breakfast wasn't too bad - as many Nuremberg sausages as you could eat with scrambled egg and some beans or potato squares. Nice selection of bread and pastries. The cold meat and cheese selection was poor quality but the highlight was the easy to use waffle maker , a hit with everyone. Machine coffee and juices were so so but considering it's a budget hotel it was better than I expected. The coffee machine is available all day long so grab a cup after a day sightseeing in the city. Staff were excellent , always cheerful and happy to help. A fellow guest wanted a 10 minute hard boiled egg as the ones in the buffet were only cooked for 6 minutes - not a problem ! The location is perfect , walking distance to the old town or the #8 tram to the rally grounds , a great budget choice if visiting Nuremberg.

Set I. A perfect location for us as it is 200 yards from the station but only a five minute walk into town. The mini E we arrived to the minute we left the staff could not do enough for us, the manager led by example but I must mention Celline who went above and beyond. Spotlessly clean the rooms were big and extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend and would certainly come back and this hotel would be my first choice

A fantastic property, felt very much welcomed and we're given an upgrade too which was very welcome. Bar was reasonably priced for drinks but food was as expected in a hotel, pricier than the local area. The hotel doesn't feel luke a traditional Holiday Inn, feels like the hotel needs to be upgraded a level as the staff (especially Dominik) were great and the amenities with the exception of missing a pool were fantastic. Little gripes; only one key available for the room and when we were trying to check out - the night manager seemed to be struggling with a departure and didn't even acknowledge those of us waiting so ended up just dropping the key as we had an early train to catch.

I stayed here for one night before heading out to the airport to fly back home and I was impressed with the hotel facilities. Is like a US based Sheraton not your EU like one. The lobby was very nice and modern, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The breakfast area and whole selection and options were great. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and deserving kudos for their doing above and beyond. The front desk staff were very hospitable from the check in lady to the checkout guy. Overall a good place to stay and it will be for sure my place to stay next time I’m in Nuremberg. No more Le Meridian 😜.

Basic euro hotel - clean, small, quiet. Nice location - half a block from the train station, walking distance to a lot of cool stuff. Service... was out of this world. WOW. The young woman at the desk (Name starts with S) was a brilliant host to the hotel and Nuremberg. She offered concierge-style advice and service with the attitude of an unassuming friend... I stayed a fair number of days and interacted with the staff regularly; all professional and competent (a note to M for his help too) but S is to be singled out for understanding the word ”Hospitality” and her good cheer.

Considering this is only a 3* property, the staff make sure you have a far greater experience that really impresses. The hotel is located a relatively short walk from Nuremberg Castle (about 10 -15 minutes) which is the Northern point of the old town. You can also ride the 4 Tramline that stops outside the hotel or the U3 underground line is less than a 10 minute walk. As such, you're very well connected and in easy reach of everything the city has to offer. The hotel looks like an older building, almost medieval in it's styling, but it is modern, fresh and clean. They are practicing COVID protocols, which must be followed and that included having a vaccination certificate to check in. Masks are required in all the public areas and you need to specify a breakfast time so as they can organize the distance seating. My room was odd in that it was huge, but set for one person. A big double bed, but with a single duvet and just one pillow. The linens were fresh and clean and mattress comfortable. There's a desk, chair, small table, flat screen TV and good space for luggage and hanging clothes, but it felt very empty because of the size. Hardly a complaint. There's a fridge, which is very welcome. The heating was good and needed in the cold winter. Bathrooms have a shower/tub and basin with excellent hot water pressure, but the only amenity is a standard body/hair wash. Towels were a bit old, but certainly clean. Currently, house keeping is limited because of COVID, but towels are refreshed every day and they empty the trash. Breakfast is excellent. On my first morning, they even laid out a chocolate Santa for me, which was very nice. There is everything you'd want to eat and more. A really good selection of hot and cold items, all of very high quality. It's buffet style, but the staff are still there to help and are always friendly and clear tables quickly. The one problem the hotel is currently experiencing is with their WIFI provider. Although free, the property has run into a tech issue they seem unable to solve that means you have to pay to log in to each device. You will have no choice but to pay, so make sure when you login you get a receipt. Just email it to the front desk and they will immediately reimburse you either in cash or make a credit on your credit card. They are just as frustrated by the provider as the guests, but they are super efficient about repaying the guest's costs. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this hotel. Very nice staff and good problem solvers that means problems aren't problems at all. I believe there is parking on site, but I didn't need it. They also have fresh fruit to help yourself throughout the day. A great option for Nuremburg.

GGuest UserEasy to find in the old town using google maps, just ten minutes’ walk from the train station. The hotel is not on the ground floor of the building that it shares. When I arrived, I had to press a buzzer to get zapped into the building from the street & then it was into the lift (or stairs) & up to reception located on the first floor. I arrived at 13:00 not expecting my room to be ready but after just a ten-minute wait, I was told that my room was ready. A friendly, if not a little bit slapstick, (as a number of guests arrived at the same time to check in) check in then ensued with Ingrid during which I had to fill out a registration form & I was given info on breakfast times, my Wi-Fi code & a map of the old town. I was given two keys, one for my room & the other to access the building’s main entrance. With all that done it was off to the lift & up to my fourth-floor room. My room, no. 409, was a single room & just about big enough even for just a solo traveller. It was aged looking but clean & overlooked a busy street. Heat wise, it was very, very warm as the temperature outside was in the high twenties. With a laminate wood floor there were a number of facilities ….. wardrobe, smoke alarm, luggage racks, tv, mini bar (photo attached), work desk, chair, lamp, electric fan, trouser press, large mirror, radiator, single bed, small electric fan at the head of the bed & several spare electrical sockets. A large window gave a lot of natural light but unfortunately let in a lot of noise from the street below…people, traffic, music…well into the early hours. Closing the window helped but sleep quality was poor. Wi-Fi was hit & miss, quick to connect to with username & password required & had ok speeds but I had to re-enter the username & password whenever I returned to the hotel. The bathroom was small but clean with a tiled floor & walls, small shower cubicle, shower head & hose on a riser rail, easy to control shower valve, good water pressure & plenty of hot water, hairdryer, handwash & hair/body wash in wall mounted dispensers, mirror, radiator, electrical socket, ceiling vent, one bath towel, one hand towel & a floor towel. Breakfast was served from 06:30 to 10:00. I went down at 09:20 & it was busy, but I had no difficulty in getting seated straight away. Continental buffet - it was excellent with a good selection of good quality products – yoghurts, cereals, fruit slices, cheese spreads, croissants, breads, toast, scrambled eggs, sausages, cheeses, salami, cold meats, boiled eggs, tomatoes, smoked salmon, tomatoes with melted mozzarella, honey, jams, seeds, raisins, dried cranberries, fresh whole oranges, apples, pears, bananas, blueberries, grapes, kiwi slices, a vegan selection, teas, coffees & a large number of fruit juices. Checking out was as friendly as checking in had been but without the panic stations. I left my luggage, for a short time, in the secure complimentary left luggage area. There is a supermarket just metres away from the h

GGuest UserI’ll start with the positives of this hotel: we were really happy with the location! Access to the tram literally right outside the front door was perfect. We also found it was in walking distance to the Christmas Markets, an Aldi and a coffee shop! Some short comings for us were the self checkin for after hours, in theory this would be excellent…BUT the touch screen was horrendous, after our flight being delayed we did not arrive until about 3am instead of 11pm so we were already tired and then having to spend at least 20 minutes trying to type in our reservation info was extremely aggravating. The keyboard kept disappearing and then reappearing, adding/erasing letters on its own… again great in theory but the execution was just not there. The room appeared to be clean however for the few days we were there we noticed a strange smell from the shower portion of the bathroom and it just didn’t seem to be the cleanest. There was also a stain on one of the comforters in the room upon checking at arrival, with no one at the desk at night we just had to not use it. We’ve stayed at B&B hotels and are generally happy with the experience given the price. I’m sure it was just that particular room however, we probably wouldn’t stay again unless only for a night at a low price. Again, the location was great but overall experience was a bit lower than usual, hopefully was just a one off due to the busy time of year.

This hotel has a chain in many parts of Germany, generally not in the city center, but not far from the subway. The room is not big, there is no way to add an extra bed. The biggest advantage is that the tableware is complete, equipped with a sink and an induction cooker. You can buy the ingredients yourself at the opposite supermarket. The only downside is that it is stuck on the road, a bit noisy...
