Outstanding
JJjKk103Selected this home stay for a family weekend before attending the wedding. The Homestead is very newly built. You can see the bathroom the kitchen and the sofa are all new. Most importantly the owner is very friendly. The owner help us to arrange a taxi to Manila airport, even we change the time, couple of time. She still remain very patient. The facility come with the outdoor spa the outdoor BBQ and they have everything you need for a weekend family trip inside the house well equipped kitchen all kind of board games, et cetera.
66029****Initially, we were given a bunk bed room on the basement level, which my family wasn't very fond of. We requested the manager to switch us to a twin room on the second floor, and they added an extra small bed. The room was cleaned daily, so the basic service was okay. We tried the breakfast once at 550 PHP per person, but it was quite ordinary, so we didn't bother with it on subsequent days. The pool facilities are relatively new. Massages cost 500-600 PHP per hour, which is half or even less than half the price you'd pay for similar services in Manila, definitely worth trying. If you turn right out of the hotel parking lot and walk about 150 meters to the main road, then turn left and walk another ~1500 meters, you'll find a scenic Starbucks (see picture, the queue was too long during the holidays). If you turn left out of the hotel parking lot, after 150 meters at the T-junction, there's a market with several fast-food restaurants (McDonald's, KFC, Greenwich Pizza) and a supermarket selling fruits and vegetables. It's noticeable that the main building, including room facilities, is a bit dated. The shower in the bathroom uses an electric water heater, and the temperature was only about 35 degrees Celsius (not hot enough), and the shower floor isn't sloped enough, causing water to accumulate. However, for a small town, the value for money at a hotel with this service standard is quite good.
AagrixDuring our stay at Hortz Hotel and Resorts in Tagaytay, Philippines, we found the surroundings to be wonderful—peaceful and calm, offering a perfect retreat from the city. The rooms are spacious enough for a family, and the beds are large and comfortable, easily accommodating two people. The toiletries provided were satisfactory, and overall, the rooms were quite clean. However, we did notice a few small insects and some dust on the bed, likely due to the trees surrounding the area. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel is a great place to relax and unwind. The serene environment and adequate amenities make it a pleasant option for a short getaway.
AAnonymous UserWhen you book, you won't be able to contact the property owner. You'll just have to find the caretaker when you arrive. The area is really vast, which makes it a bit creepy. But it's great, especially if you have a pet. The rooms are clean, but I don't know what the issue is, as many offices and restaurants are closed and dusty, adding to the creepiness of the place. Good thing many of us booked on that day, so our worries disappeared. On the second day, we were the only ones left, but our anxiety was gone. The caretakers, Ate and Kuya, were super kind, 5/5.
If you ask if we'd go back there, my answer is YES. It's perfect if you're looking for a quiet place. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool; it was clean and relaxing.
GGuest UserOne for the budget solo traveller. Basic room, with tv and aircon. I noticed that you can hear noise when someone walks along or arrived at the hallway.
Tagaytay weather is very cold, no hot and cold shower but the room has electric kettle, so i boiled water before taking a bath :)
There are few eateries outside serving goto and lomi.
From the hiway ,its a slight long walk from the bus stop to this transient home. Overall enjoyed my stay because its budget friendly
