"We heard a lot about the place from friends, and decided to try thermal water treatments for the first time. There is no doubt that the experience was very successful and we will return again and again. But the treatments themselves, which were excellent, are only part of the great sense of pleasure we experienced at the hotel. An excellent level of service from the entire hotel staff, starting with the doorman and ending with the senior management. Everyone showed great interest and a prominent desire to understand our needs and provide them quickly, efficiently and punctually. Excellent and meticulous room maintenance, starting with the daily change of bright sheets, to the small and delicious candy carefully placed on the pillow. A clean and equipped dining room at the highest level. Efficiently managed kitchen and dining room staff. The food, which we learned to recognize with its unique flavors (with a healthy food orientation), was varied and very tasty. More than we recommend the hotel, we have no doubt that we will return again and again and again…. Thanks ! "

"I would give this hotel 3 stars instead of four. Nothing is special. Food, staff, rooms are average. Piestany is a beatiful city with a lot of nice places to visit, but this hotel doesnt belong to it. We tried wellness are next to the hotel and that was excellent."

"Grand Hotel, Piešťany. Stay from November 3–6, 2025. Two persons. A very disappointing experience at a property rated as 4 stars but not reflecting that standard at all. • Room never cleaned during three days, fridge switched off and full of mold. • Bathroom in terrible condition: limescale in the toilet, mold in the shower, small and impractical sink, unhygienic fittings. • Breakfast poor and of low quality; shockingly, coffee was charged as an extra despite being included. • Relaxation area with jacuzzi dirty and neglected. • Safe unstable and insecure, easily removable. In summary: neglected property, inadequate services, and quality far below expectations. The four-star rating is completely unjustified."

"The hotel is run down, the rooms are dated, and didn’t even come with enough towels for the number of guests. There’s no instruction from any staff on using the facilities. I can’t even figure out how to redeem my treatments that I booked and paid for. Despite the claims that Ensana is child friendly, nothing about this hotel is geared towards children. Save your money and stay elsewhere."

"The receptionist old lady was horrible, we were sitting in the reception and the music in the background was playing on, I put on the video she shouted “put down the volume!!!” How about music?!? The next day the reception area was full of people and they were talking and laughing loudly, she didn’t talk or mention a single word?!? She was very discriminated."

"I would love to write a good review but it is heart-breaking how the ownership allowed this beautiful and world famous spa to degenerate. All spa houses bar Thermia are run down and shabby. The lobby in Esplanade is at least 25 years old. The prices are very high especially for the treatments but it seems nothing is invested back to the hotels... Service varies. We had good and bad experience. Some people clearly didn't want to be there.. I hope this will improve and the legacy of Winter family will be upheld."
