Holiday Inn Express PINGCHANG by IHG ★★★★

📍 Jinbao New Area Railway Station (Buildings 5-8, Station Front Plaza) , Tongzhou Subdistrict Office, Pingchang

"This is the hotel I'd stay in if I returned to Pyeongchang. It's conveniently located and quiet. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. It's also very convenient for catching the train. The room itself is well worth the price."

Bashan Meicun Private Tang Resort Hotel ★★★★

📍 No. 188, Village Group 3, Shuangcheng Village, Sima Town, Pingchang

"Temporary booking, I didn't expect much, but the surprise for me was too big! The outside looks like a earthy house, and the inside is another flavor, central air-conditioning radiator, and an oversized lawn. Originally, we were looking for a place to live and we would come over. Even my very picky family felt that it was really good. You can consider coming here for a day during the New Year. The bacon salt vegetable noodles for breakfast are also very farmhouse. I still recommend everyone to experience it. It’s really good."

"Decent Hotel in a small town. Cleaniness could be improved as bedsheets were not changed even upon request (our toddler stained the sheets a little). Bed is super soft althought i prefer a firmer bed. Good thing is room has no smoke smell, which is rare in china hotels. Generally one of the better hotel to stay if you are an international traveller."

Holiday Inn Express PINGCHANG by IHG ★★★★
"The Holiday Inn Express Pyeongchang is truly remarkable among all the Holiday Inn Express hotels I've stayed at. Judging by the decor and room size alone, it's a member of the Indigo brand, perhaps due to its location in the small county of Pyeongchang. The service was exceptional. Upon check-in, I casually asked if there was sparkling water as a welcome drink and was told no. The hotel actually made me a special drink and sent it to my room. I was so touched. The breakfast was also very generous, and the quality of the dishes was exceptional, far superior to other Holiday Inn Express hotels."

Bashan Meicun Private Tang Resort Hotel ★★★★
"The environment room and service are very satisfactory. There are a few shortcomings that need to be improved. The hot water problem at night caused four rooms to have no hot water, and the water was yellow. It was a bit embarrassing that there was no bath that night. The hot water came the next morning. This should be a hardware problem. And there was no response to this the next day. Sound insulation is a big problem, and the child next door has been noisy until late at night."

Manzhou Hotel ★★★
"I booked this room specifically for the massage chair, but the experience was disappointing. I only stayed one night before switching hotels. With so many hotels nearby, this one felt like poor value for money. Although the hotel doesn't look old, many of its small amenities had issues."

"The first time I stayed at this hotel, I was also recommended by a friend. He thinks the environment is very good, very clean, and newly renovated. I came to see it. It was really good, especially the lobby was very novel. The little sister at the front desk checked in very smoothly, patient, and good service. The rooms are very intelligent and equipped with direct drinking machines. Mainly cost-effective."
