Hotel Mediteran Plava Laguna ★★★
"The hotel is well located. You can walk along the embankment to the city center. There is also a tourist train nearby that costs four euros per person. They check you in quickly. Check out before 12:00"
Isabella Island Hotel & Villas, Valamar Collection ★★★★
"I have been coming to this hotel since before the renovation, when it was called the Fortuna and Boris was at reception, and always loved it and the island. I must have visited 10 times at least. This year it felt as if something had been lost, a different atmosphere. With the exception of the concierge, the young lady who checked at the dining room door, and the lovely lady on the sausage cooking station at breakfast, where did all the smiles and welcome chats from the staff go? Our room cleaner didn't even seem to acknowledge us. Apart from that, no complants about the beautifully kept grounds, food was great, what alcoholic drinks we could have on all inclusive was a bit confusing though. I doubt I will return but only because of my mobility. I will always love Isabella Island."
Hotel Zorna Plava Laguna ★★★
"We had an absolutely amazing stay. Hotel was clean, food was excellent, bar staff couldn’t do enough even when they were absolutely busy and had been working all day long. Senaid and Marisela in particular were super! English level was excellent and stayed bubbly the whole way through. 100% would come again"
Solaris Camping Resort ★★★
"A top-notch dog-friendly campsite. Clean and airy sanitary facilities. Everything you and your pet could need is right there on site!"
Hotel Albatros Plava Laguna ★★★★
"Currently half way through an 11 night stay with family and honestly can’t fault it here. I paid extra to have a sea view room and definitely worth it (photo below). Our room looks out over the pools and gardens. Great view from the balcony for the firework display on a Thursday night, which was like a firework display standard back home. Amazing!! Our room was spotlessly cleaned daily with fresh towels by the time we had returned from breakfast. All areas of the hotel and pool are kept very clean from what I’ve seen. I do get up to put the towels down but most hotels are like that. Breakfast - cereals, lots of different bread, biscuits, continental, cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurts, decent coffee, variety of teas, juices, etc. All nicely presented and fresh. Lunch and dinner - two choices of soup, bread, pasta, pizza, fresh fish, meats, salads, cheeses, vegetables, rice, risotto, etc. Selection of cakes, fruit, yoghurts and ice cream for dessert. Nothing negative to say about the food, it’s been lovely. Decent wine and beer on tap too. If you like junk food then this isn’t the place for you I’m afraid. Not a chip or chicken nugget in sight thankfully! Good bar service with plenty of staff. There’s a coffee bar and snack bar, which does have chips available I believe. My 12 year old is in his element here with all the sports included. At least 12 quality clay tennis courts, eight table tennis tables, pedalos, kayaks, bikes, etc. We have taken full advantage of booking all this easily next to reception desk. The immediate area literally right outside hotel is great. All the sports on your doorstep, bars, restaurants and shops. Area is fairly quiet during the day. Does get busier in the evening. We’ve done a day trip to Slovenia (Lake Bled) which was absolutely stunning. Been on a BBQ boat trip to Rovinj which was a lovely old town with cobbled streets, harbour, lots of restaurants, etc. Day trip to Venice later in the week. We’ve used the bikes to ride into Porec which wasn’t far. It’s lovely there and worth a visit. It’s easy to get the little train into Porec for 4 euros each. You can also get a taxi or water taxi easily. It’s reasonably priced to eat/drink out everywhere we’ve been so far. Nice little bar across the road called Beach Volley I think. Great service and prices. The staff work really hard here to keep the place nice for the guests. We are having a lovely time and would definitely recommend. For the price we paid to come here I think it’s more than worth it."
Valamar Parentino Hotel ★★★★
"Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Close to Porec town and beach only minutes away. Lovely resort that caters for all ages . Goran the PT at the gym was fabulous! Our 9year old twins absolutely loved the games room too. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Food was lovely, lots of choice Not too noisy at night either so able to rest peacefully."
Hotel Dua Residence ★★★★
"The location was great, close to the long-distance bus terminal. The entrance is inconspicuous, next to a kebab shop, so I walked right past it without noticing it at first. The single room was in the attic with only a skylight, offering a sky view. That's great, but part of the roof sags at an angle, so even though I was careful, I still hit my head on it a few times. Tall people should be especially careful!"
Valamar Riviera Hotel & Residence ★★★★
"Very nice hotel, great location, and you can use the beach on the hotel island, including the boat, free of charge. We were surprised that there were sometimes four employees at reception and none of them greeted us. What about customer service?"
Hotel Materada Plava Laguna ★★★
"Super good hotel with activities at the pool. Nice garden with many different kind of trees."

Valamar Tamaris Resort
"Great service, very clean, good food, everything was great, gladly again"
Hotel Plavi Plava Laguna
"A holiday in Croatia is a complete nightmare. We have been going to Croatia for years and have never experienced anything like this. Football kids from Italy who had no manners, manners or respect. The noise level was worse than a plane taking off late into the night, insults were the order of the day, the hotel staff were disrespected and physically attacked with plates and cutlery, people spit from the balcony and had no manners at the buffet. That was just a small selection. The hotel staff did what they could but achieved nothing. What a pity. The hotel won't be seeing us again any time soon."
Rubin Hotel
"I loke to give an in depth review so be prepared, this may be a long one. As we arrived my family didn't think much of the curb appeal of this hotel but they had not done their research. You do not see the sea from the drive from the airport to the hotel, but the hotel is in a beautiful position right next to the sea. There is no beach to speak of anywhere nearby, other than a small man made one on the sea front. This did not bother us at all, the views were still stunning, there were lots of steps down to access the sea, and the walk from the hotel into Porec is a very pretty one. There is a land train (€2 each way), eco taxi (€4 each one way) and taxi boats (€5 each, minimum fare €25 one way but room on the boat for 10 or more people) that can take you to town and back if you don't fancy the walk (15 to 20 minutes). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, spoke English well, and I could not fault them. Emilia and Ana were great to chat to when they were working behind the bar. Myself and my son found out a lot about how Croatia differs from England. We also saw them working within the restaurant, all of the staff were constantly working and worked long hours. Marco in the pool bar always served with a smile. The restaurant was clean, although at busy times it could be hard to find a table and often we had to sit at tables that hadn't been cleaned. The staff usually noticed and would clean the table as soon as they did. The breakfast was good, 8am until 11am. A good variety of food on offer, fried eggs made to order, cooked breakfast items, cereal, fruit and yoghurt, fried breakfast items, bread and pastries, cold meat and cheese. The drinks were different teas, coffee, including a machine for different types of coffee that I cannot comment on as I don't like coffee. There is a machine serving water and juice. The orange juice ran out a lot or was very weak. There was no cola, lemonade etc, only water and juice and hot drinks. Often breakfast would begin to be cleared away from 10am. Lunch was an added bonus as my booking had stated bed and breakfast. This was from 11am until 2pm. It got very busy from 1pm. Again good variety of food and deserts. Always pizza, pasta, salad, a meat dish, potatoes etc. Tea was taken away which was a shame. I didn't have a problem with the food. The room was great. I was expecting 1 room with a bed and pull out bed with not a lot of room. I actually got a separate bedroom which was great that my son got his own space in the living area with a pull out bed. Each room had its own little balcony. Yes it could benefit from being modernised but as a base it was more than fine. The bed was comfortable, the rooms clean. There are not many plug sockets and there is no kettle but I brought a travel kettle so not a problem. There was a fridge and the aircon was great! There is no safe in the room but there were safes in the locked room where you could leave your luggage if you had a late f"
Garden Suites Park Plava Laguna
"A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, exceptionally friendly staff, everything is very clean, and the Garden Suites are spacious and inviting – all in all: TIPTOP :) Thank you very much – we'd love to come back! …………….."
Hotel Delfin Lanterna
"This is our second wonderful vacation at this modern, well-equipped, and very clean hotel. It features a well-maintained outdoor pool with a sun terrace and—for rainy days—a heated pool, as well as an indoor sauna, relaxation room, and fitness room. The atmosphere is unbeatably warm and welcoming. We're already planning our next stay."
Valamar Diamant Hotel
"Really great atmosphere especially at the pool bar. Great pool programme (e.g. water aerobic). Amazing kitchen. Beach is 3 min of walk. Cool for small kids, as a gamer I loved the gaming room with 7 PS5 which you can play for free (incl. in the hotel price). Greetings mainly to the pool bar crew ❤️"
Hotel Park Plava Laguna
"This hotel is excellent, modern, clean and spacious. The facilities are very good, although the pools are quite deep, seemingly without shallow ends. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is of good quality and variety. The only downside is that we found meal times to be quite chaotic and challenging. Partly due to the volume of people and quite frankly, out of control children, at times. Location wise, the hotel is situated in Špadići which is a 25 minute stroll into the beautiful Porec. There is also a small train, every 40 minutes costing €2.50 each way. There are a few bars and restaurants near the hotel and the beach literally across the road. The beach is pretty much concrete but the sunsets are amazing. Porec is stunning and well worth a visit. We also visited Rovinj and Pula but found Porec to the be the nicest, although busy, and hot! The hotel attracts nationals of most European countries and on particular there seemed to be a lot of Austrian and German quests. There were few brits (which isn’t a bad thing as we aren’t fans of brits on the razz). We’d have given this hotel 5 stars, however meal times were an issue and we ate out for 3 out of our 7 nights due to this. This was our second trip to Croatia and would highly recommend a visit. The people are warm and friendly, the towns and scenery are stunning."
