"When you first arrived at the hotel and looked for a parking lot, you discovered that parking costs fifty dollars a day. For a househusband or a couple traveling together, you feel that these fifty dollars are not worth it because it is not close enough to the hotel. Then you hurriedly found the front desk, but they couldn't find your reservation because the three hotels were combined. You need to take a 1km/h train to reach your front desk. Then after a long wait, a voice of aloha called your attention back. After your soft and hard offensive, the hotel finally agreed to your request to check out at 11 o'clock, and upgraded you to a seafront room. Sure enough, you were awakened by the noise of birds the next day, and the running and crying of children made you feel that you were not on vacation. Okay, I can't make it up anymore. It's a good hotel."

"The room was big enough for a group of 5 people and equipped with all the kitchen stuff needed for us to prepare quick meals after long days. Ocean Club was nice. I loved the gym right in front of the ocean, which made me feel like running on heaven.
There were also beach gears and collapsible chairs, but we knew them stored in storage outside the door on the checkout. Beach towels are provided to guests at the office.
There was no housekeeping during my stay of 3 nights. I had to vacuum by myself. 2 cocktoaches came inside the room on the first night, and their dried parts were founded beneath the sofa, but we took care of them. It was okay.
Except some minors. I enjoyed staying at Hali'i Kai.staffI met were all kind and sweet. Thanks. I would stay here again if I come visit Bigisland."

Have an extra day or two? You can not miss the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park! If you can swing it, stay a night down at the Volcano House lodge, overlooking the crater! The place is so awesome that you really cannot cover it in a day if you want to go for hikes in the park. On the way home you will want to stop at the waterfalls along the way. Or South Point. Or the black sand beaches. The views are spectacular the whole way!
Kolea is located between the Marriott Waikoloa Beach Hotel and the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel, and near the Kings Shops, and newly opened Queens Shops. Fine dining, and shopping abounds. Free entertainment and family activities, such as ukulele contests and hula lessons, are an almost daily feature at the Kings shops: be sure to pick up a calendar upon arrival. Located on the beautiful Waikoloa Beach Course, 1st fairway and green with the Petroglyph Trail and Mauna Kea as the backdrop, the second floor unit has two bedrooms with king size beds and options for separate twin beds, an open lanai and generous living space for your vacation pleasure. The high ceilings and doorways give an extra spacious feel. A fully equipped kitchen and laundry machines in the condo make it feel like home. A reserved parking space in shaded carport is right in front of the building. The infinity pool, jacuzzi and BBQ area make for great day and evening outdoor fun.
A quick walk to the Kings Shops and the Queens Marketplace provide lots of shopping and restaurants including Hawaiian entertainment on the outdoor stages. A great family area all around with the Marriott Hotel and Hilton Waikoloa around the corner where you can experience the Dolphin Quest and great snorkeling and swimming at Anaeho'omalu Bay (1/4 mile from our door to the beach with shops in between). Hike along the coast on the Fisherman's trail.

It is one of the best diving areas in all of Hawaii. It was home to Native Hawaiians. Hapuna Beach, a top rated beach in the world, is a few minute drive away.
