"Aveda is well maintained and is within walking distance to the town centre. The room was clean and quiet. One thing we noticed was the bed mattress and pillow are very soft. The team was pleasant to interact with, proactively contacting us to let us know their holiday hours and how to self check in. Don’t forget to bring a toothbrush as New Zealand generally will not provide this."

"What a pleasant surprise this motel turned out to be. From the friendly staff, to the clean and surprisingly quiet units considering the location. Looks like they had also recently updated the units as well. Everything we needed for our stay, especially with the New World just across the road. Is a definite stay again."
