"The hotel looks really grand from outside and in the main lobby with giant chandeliers. However, once you enter the rooms you can clearly see the hotel has seen better days. The staff were kind and helpful and offered to move us rooms immediately after we raised safety concerns about the conditions of the shower in one room. They offered us lots of other rooms to choose from, we moved to a room with less damage but every room we saw had highly stained carpets and damage due to cigarettes including the room we ended up in. The hotel has clearly seen better days but was well located and has huge potential if more investment was made on maintenance and cleanliness. I hope this hotel can improve as the staff were so helpful but at the moment I can't recommend it."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and the hotel restaurant food was quite good. However, the hotel's facilities and hygiene seriously need improvement. First, the toilet had a strong, unpleasant smell. The partition between the shower and toilet leaked, causing water to get everywhere in the bathroom. The toothbrush holder was also dirty. Since I was just here for skiing, I was willing to overlook these things for the sake of convenience. But then I got cold water when showering at night. In this freezing weather, how can I possibly tolerate that? It's absolutely speechless. I had to take cold showers for two days straight."
