"The hotel itself is well maintained and decorated, equipped with a small but beautiful garden , a classy living room with many paintings and a fitness room. Even though the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the train station, the street nearby is a bit rundown.  Most of the shops are closed down with just a few restaurants and a pub. The occupancy of the hotel is rather low during my stay at the end of July for 3 nights. Despite this, the staff are warmly welcoming. Breakfast is more than adequate and decent. We enjoyed very much staying at this hotel ."

"I wanted to testify to the great professionalism of the Oceania Quimper hotel reception staff who I was not lucky enough to meet personally, but only through written words. We had booked a double room for 2 at the hotel for a 2 night stay in mid October 2023 directly on their site. We had mistakenly made a reservation that could not be modified or cancelled, with immediate payment, but this had not bothered us too much as the trip had been booked for some time and the desire to take a dip in Finistère was great... it was a trip planned by over two years, but which we then had to postpone for one reason or another. We left home on September 21st with the intention of reaching the French border via the Moncenis Pass and we had booked the first overnight stay in Chambery, but we didn't get there... Our car, quite new and checked in every part before trip, began to report having problems near Susa, after having been calm and helpful for more than 400 km, so we decided to look for an authorized Ford workshop. The problems were more serious than we feared... we had to leave the car in the care of the staff and look for accommodation in Turin for a few days... waiting to find out when we could leave again. But we never left again... We canceled the reservations made with the possibility of cancellation and initially asked the Oceania Quimper hotel to be able to change the dates of the stay, which was accepted immediately... believing we could resume the trip after about ten days from the breakdown.. and we subsequently communicated that we just couldn't leave as the car's problems were quite serious, so much so that to date it hasn't yet been delivered to us. The Hotel Oceania Quimper expressed its solidarity and immediately reimbursed us, down to the last cent... It will obviously be our stop in Quimper next spring… Maria Rosa"
