San Giorgio Palace Hotel Ragusa Ibla
"The hotel has an elevator that goes directly to town. A short walk up the steps and around the corner leads to the St. George's Basilica in Ragusa Ibra. For €5, you can take a mini-train to tour the town's other churches. The hotel itself isn't large; carrying large suitcases can be tiring, as you have to climb a 20-meter ramp and walk along a long corridor. The facilities are basic. If you're only staying one night, you can't expect too much. The hotel terrace offers a view of a corner of the town."
La Corte di Ibla
"The property is located right in the historic center. It's not accessible by car, but a 10-minute walk. The Duomo is a 5-minute walk from the property. The property is clean. There are breakfast bars nearby."
La Casa del Gelsomino
"Lovely place that is nicely decorated, in a great location in Ragusa. Breakfast was very good - partial freshly prepared / partly buffet style, with the added bonus of a home made dessert! The ladies preparing the breakfast were also very friendly, which makes the stay even better. There is a great view from the garden, which is a nice & relaxing place - I would definitely stay here again."
Itria Palace
"Very friendly staff. Upgraded the rooms and answered all of our requests politely and super helpful."
Giardino Sul Duomo
"The hotel is beautiful, very friendly staff and wonderful services"
La Casa di Matilde
Ibla Rooms
"Ibla, the Ragusa you don't expect: tidy and organised, beautiful! As well as the hospitality of Ibla Rooms: well-equipped, clean room. Rich and abundant breakfast. Registered mail. We will definitely return. Maria and Sandro"
Lues Rooms
"Great stay in a clean and comfortable room. Ludovico is a great host! He shared his knowledge of the region, its history, and his best places with us."
Villa Boscarino
"Very good experience!"

Eremo Della Giubiliana
"The hotel claims to be 5 star - it is not. Looking at their website they look as though they have some nice rooms but they also have some awful ones. We booked from Loveholidays website. The room we picked showed a beautiful large light room with bifold doors with a patio outside with a dining table (a picture of the room we booked is attached). Upon our return from holiday and complaining to Loveholidays the following day the pictures on their website of this room suddenly disappeared. Unfortunately the room provided to us (room15) was a tiny, dark airless DUMP - the window was more of a small hatch, you had to have the electric light on during the day . Upon complaining we were told that the booking was for a Superior Room with garden view and that was what we had been given. In the bedroom there was no wardrobe or chest of drawers (there was no space for them). There was no power point to charge your mobile phone- although there was one by the bathroom basin if you wished to chance being electrocuted. The garden view was a grubby courtyard complete with two open manholes . They turn the lights out at night. Upon being shown to our room for the first time in the early hours I nearly fell into one of these holes - about 40cm square and about 70 cm deep just waiting to break your leg or fracture your pelvis. The food was not good - if you were expecting fish in a beautiful wine sauce or a piece of chicken/lamb/pork in a rich sauce forget it. We dreaded the meals. We have had holidays all over Italy and never have had such poor food. The hotel certainly has a suit of armour in the hallway but their pictures of bikes for rent must have been taken 14 years ago - they are now just a load of rusting metal fit for the skip. Loveholidays have clearly mis-sold me by accident or design I do not know. Would you trust Loveholidays to provide the holiday you booked ? - I never will again"
Locanda Don Serafino Historical Boutique Hotel
"This is an imaginatively created historic hotel which has really excellent staff. It also has a great atmosphere, a little like certain hotels in Matera which have rooms carved out of rock. The fact that the hotel is not all under the same roof could be inconvenient in bad weather, but the weather is Sicily is usually good. We were there in winter, had no problems and loved our cave room. The Reception staff are all exceptional, very friendly and always available to give advice or make bookings. Breakfast, which is excellent, is served in a room with views across a deep valley by two lovely staff members who make very good coffee and egg dishes. The Michelin starred Locanda Don Serafino restaurant is beyond amazing. Partially carved into multi-coloured rock, it is very beautiful to look at, and the atmosphere is matched by the wonderful food and service. The Executive Chef is brilliant, as well as very helpful with dietary problems. His whole team are both efficient and warm and friendly, an absolutely perfect experience."
B&B Bianco E Blu
"We chose Bianco e blue after the good ratings, and we were not disappointed at all. Our room was spacey, very clean, a nice combination of modern facilities in an older structure, and the balcony in room 4, even though to the north, had at least partly sun almost all day long in the end of april. Breakfast was - especially for Italy - of high quality en variety with fresh made fruit salad and delicious home made pastries and jam. The location is perfect with a few steps to the beach, the only disadvantage (not for us) can be noise from the streets around the B&B, mainly people talking loudly in the streets, but that is what you have to expect in a Italian town. But the windows are well isolated, so if you close them, the noise will disappear. The owner was very friendly, giving a lot of advices for activities, restaurants, also the other staff was very friendly and welcoming. All in all absolutely recommendable, very good value for the money, if we com to Marina di Ragusa, we will certainly choose Bianco e blu again"
Villa Del Lauro
"First I will say that the staff here were excellent, polite and helpful. However, the hotel is on three levels and there is no lift. The breakfast was good but continental only. There is no restaurant and no bar, though the staff will happily serve drinks in the small lounge. The WiFi is not up to the job. The city of Ragusa is on two hills and the main street one long hill. To get to any restaurant is at least 10 minutes fast walk up hill, and 20 minutes is more realistic. The hotel is on a steep narrow street and the only parking is on-street and limited. You need to be fit! Position wise it is well positioned for access to the town or to Ragusa Ibla, the older part."
Casato Licitra
Aura Club - Villa Carlotta
"Fantastic structure, we stayed for 3 days and tried the couple massage that I strongly recommend! The owner boy is very nice and nice, but the chilli on the cake is the kitchen managed by Chief Cavalli person in a way and a real professional in the industry! We have been really good! We will surely return"
Acacia Marina
"Excellent hotel. The pools, dining, and service were impeccable. The rooms were a bit dated and the cleanliness could be improved, but overall, it's an EXCELLENT hotel."
Poggio Del Sole Hotel
" Poggio del Sole Hotel Is a hotel of contradiction with impressive and grossly unimpressive features. The hotel is very large considering its remote, rural location. The foyer area is enormous with a large comfortable lounge area. There are numerous large dining areas and you can also eat by the side of the large pool. The pool also has a bar so you can order drinks and snacks. The decor is tasteful with wooden reproductions of a variety of cactus plants including the prickly pear, a noxious **** in Australia but its fruit is used to flavour spirits in Sicily. All sounds very impressive and favourable so far. So how do most people spend most of their time besides sleeping? Browsing the Internet on their phones and iPads. Whilst “free WiFi” signs are common in hotels, cafes etc., it is now a universal expectation. With this in mind, efficient internet connectivity is both mandatory and essential. During our two day stay, WiFi was generally unavailable. To make matters worse, the restaurant menu was only available electronically and there were no paper back up menus. Selecting a food choice from an invisible menu is a challenge. Understandably the restaurant staff seemed to be in a permanent state of stress. The food was very good but a prayer may be needed to get what you ordered. Oh! yes. The rooms are large and have all the expected facilities except for drink making items. Large bed but with 3-stars for comfort. Large bathroom, hot water but wafer thin towels. So lots of pluses, a few minor negatives and the WiFi issue may not be a regular problem (suspect it is), restaurants have atmosphere and reasonable food so just remember to bring a book to read for when your mobile device is inoperative."
Relais Antica Badia - San Maurizio 1619
"Great location and unique rooms. Wonderful breakfast selection"
Relais Chiaramonte
"We stayed at the SPA Suite, the whole stay was great, with a very attentive and nice team. The restaurant is amazing, but the best thing of our experience was Gonzalo, the maitre, which made our stay truly unique. Thank you and greetings from London."
Palazzo Antoci
"Exceptional Ragusa Experience! This turned out to be one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays during our 2-week trip around Sicily. The property is in a beautifully maintained historical family Palazzo. The lovely historical furniture and artifacts contribute to the unique accommodations. Our room was an upgraded suite which was very comfortable, notable, and spacious. The hosts Rafaella and Giovanni are extremely warm and hospitable. Rafaella bakes many of the delicious Sicilian morning pastries and desserts and we enjoyed learning about Ragusa's history from both of them. The Palazzo has been the site of many notable meetings throughout the history of Ragusa as Rafaella's great grandfather held a high position in Ragusa's early leadership. The Palazzo has been nicely renovated to receive guests while maintaining many of the original features (i.e. original floor tiles lifted for utility work then replaced). The main floor of the palazzo is up a beautiful staircase, but a lift is also available. The location is superb for walking to the main sites of Ragusa and there are many restaurants nearby. HIGHLY recommended for a unique experience in Sicily."
A.D. 1768 Boutique Hotel
"Excellent location and amazing breakfast on a daily basis also catering for coeliacs. Staff were very friendly and available to answer any questions we had. It was lovely to experience this hotel! Highly recommended "
B&B Belvedere All'Idria
"Belvedere all'Idria is located between Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore. There is parking on the street close to the property. The rooms are nice and have balconies. The breakfast is quite good. The rooms are just one level higher than the street level and so very accessible. The host was very responsive to questions."
Hotel Vittorio Veneto
"Everything was wonderful. Nice host. This is the perfect place to start your journey."
Sabbinirica
"The room was clean, the facilities were complete, quiet and the service was good. The style of the whole hotel is very accent, whether it is a -2 restaurant or a -1 lounge, people will read books, eat, and sit quietly. recommend."
