"We are located at 1,200 meters above sea level in an ancient stone farmhouse surrounded by the greenery of the park. The outdoor areas have a large terrace where breakfast and dinner are served (if the temperatures allow it) as well as a relaxing swimming pool. The rooms are simple but well furnished. The internal areas, perfectly themed with the Sicilian mountain style. Special mention for the cuisine: Alessandra the chef creates truly delicious dishes, further enhancing the quality of the raw materials of the territory. Excellent starting point for exploring Etna"

"Last night, August 19th, we went up to Milo to get some fresh air and by pure chance we called this hotel/restaurant to reserve a table. We were greeted with the utmost kindness by Raffaele and Rosario. We ordered fried food, pizzoli, panna cotta, and melon, and my husband had a glass of wine recommended by Raffaele. What can I say... a WONDERFUL experience! The fried food was superb, as were the pizzoli and panna cotta. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent food as an alternative to the usual pizza. Thanks guys, and see you next time!"

"We were supposed to stay at the Esperia Palace hotel for 4 nights, but we left after 2 nights. The room assigned to us was spacious, with a nice balcony and an equally comfortable bathroom. Unfortunately this is the only positive note; for the rest nothing that could remotely correspond to a 5 star hotel: dirty sinks, dust everywhere, dirty carpet in the corridors; only one pillow per person and extremely uncomfortable; the beds were equally uncomfortable; poorly maintained (not to mention abandoned) outdoor spaces, the large pool with fountain on the terrace adjacent to the hall is out of order and covered with a tarpaulin; bar service practically non-existent so if you want to eat something during the day you have to go to the town (about 900 m away); Less than mediocre buffet breakfast. The receptionists to whom we complained were friendly, but they were not in a position to remedy the situation in any way and the total absence of a manager to turn to was noticeable. Of course we did not receive any refund for the two nights which we did not use and which we had paid for in advance upon arrival. "
