"The hotel is located 1 km from the long distance bus station from where you can get a direct bus to Chaozhou's Old City (1h) as well as a bus to the Raoping high speed railway station (30 min). The hotel is still quite new, and everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is located at the edge of the old city, where you can wander around some of the arcaded Nanyang-style arcaded streets, like in Chaozhou's old city, but without the latter's rampant touristy vibes and high prices. Shops, restaurants, and a market are all located within easy walking distance from the hotel."

"I booked two rooms. One was near the elevator, so it was extremely noisy with people coming and going. The other room had a clogged bathroom. When I contacted the front desk, they said it was because we threw tissues down there. Even though we didn't throw tissues down, the bathroom was clogged again the next day. When I checked out, they still said it was our problem. The day before, when I renewed my room, the girl at the front desk said that the bathroom had always had a problem. When I renewed the room, they even tried to charge me extra because it was the weekend. The front desk staff were rude, and the soundproofing was terrible. I could hear the hallway even from the room, even though I booked a room with an outside window. I can only imagine how it must have been in other rooms. The elevator was pitifully small, and the room was full of mosquitoes. The electric mosquito repellent was completely useless. It was a very bad experience. If you have trouble sleeping, I would advise you not to choose this room."

The balcony of the garden view room is very small and the light is not good. The lake view room has very bright sunlight. After all, it is in the mountains and the humidity is heavier. Running in the morning is not bad."

"Since I didn’t live there! There were cigarette butts in the ashtray. I checked into the room in the early morning and went to sleep at 7am! I woke up and saw there was cigarette in the ashtray! When I checked out, I asked the waiter why there were cigarette butts even though I hadn't checked in. The waiter replied, "Are you staying with someone else?" I'm wondering! Such a funny reply! I never liked comments! I have to give a bad review because every time I go back to live in Licheng, I wake up to find that the hygiene is so bad that I will never consider where to live in the future!"

It's conveniently located in the town center and a few hundred meters from the Bagua Tulou, a short walk away. I strolled through the garden, enjoying the flowers, fish, and birds. There's also a stunning overwater villa! I'll definitely be back next time. Highly recommended. The quilt was a genuine down duvet. Amazing."
