"The hotel is quite old and a bit run-down. The rooms weren't particularly clean either. The first room I was given hadn't even been cleaned, so I eventually had to switch to a different one. There was a wedding happening downstairs, and the music was audible late into the night. I would not recommend this hotel."

However, there are two things the hotel really needs to prioritize: 1. **Comforter/sheets/pillowcases smelled like they hadn't been changed.** Because I checked in late, I didn't notice it until I lay down to sleep. Ugh, I had to deal with an unpleasant smell. Even for a boutique hotel, guest hygiene should be a top priority. 2. **The front desk staff should be friendlier, not scowling.** ”Common sense” is essential when working at reception. That's all."
