"My fifth visit to Risor, and staying at the Risor Hotel made it the best. Our room looked out on the water, with views of the harbor and little islands. Our stay was close to midsummer, and the views of the water during the night were very special. The room was sparkling clean, the beds very comfortable. Delicious breakfast, lots of choices, including herring (my favorite). Mona, the owner, greeted us at the front desk, and was helpful beyond anything I would ever have imagined during our stay."

"Very clean and well managed camping! People behave very respectful of nature and the other people. The pool and beach is very nice . The new toilets and showers are clean and well maintained. We did not use the old one, but they are also cheaper."

"Far too much noise from the football pitch and youth hanging around in the area in the evenings/nights. Location of a caravan or tent close to the road is absolutely not an option if you want to catch a good night sleep. Nighttime hours are not really followed through. Cars coming and going through the night. Miserable."
