"Hotell Villa Vesta was an enchanting homely and old-worldly embracing experience. Hanna made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The rooms of this historic house are cosy and have a no-nonsense farm-house feel. Situated perfectly for a 15-minute stroll to either the famous Ronneby park and spa, or into the town centre and its historic quarter, and the handful of restaurants. Johanna arrives well before dawn to prepare a simple yet delicious breakfast for all guests to enjoy in the sun-room overlooking the canal, or in the vintage decorated dining room. They made the extra special effort of rising early to take me, themselves, to the airport for that early flight back to Stockholm, rather than rely on the scant availability of the local taxi. A lovely stay with the unique charm and experience you don't get at the big-chain hotels."

"Hotel Villa Vesta is located in Ronneby, Sweden. A delightful, family run hotel in a converted private house. Our room was overlooking the river in a very peaceful area. The room was en suite and, as this had been a private house, the furnishings were in keeping with the age of the house. Everything was immaculately clean and the included breakfast was catered for all tastes. In Sweden, all the older houses have huge ceramic stoves and the hotel was no exception. There is nothing corporate about this hotel with creaky floorboards, lovely views, peace and quiet and only a short walk to the local park and gardens."
