"Me and another 5 friends stayed there on April 4 2012. What can I say, it shows a 2 star hotel at the entrance but let me tell you, I have been many places and usually a 2 star is a 2 star, but for this one in particular the stars do not make justice! It is impeccable, looks and must be new, it is extremely clean and modern throughout, starting from the rooms and all the way down to the dining area, very modern indeed. Location is great, downtown, across the street from the Townhall and municipal parking, step to Obertoberstrase plaza and market, the place to shop and eat. Great location and priced accordingly, €78/ night plus €78 for what they call "Bio" breakfast...all "Organic" for the North Americans. Amazing food and variety. Tasty and plenty! Fully recommended!"

"Good Facilities, But Service Was Incredibly Disappointing The living conditions and amenities are good, but the service I received was a major disappointment and completely disrupted my plans. This is why I feel my spending of time and money was a waste, which is reflected in my low rating. My problems started with the check-in. I completed the online check-in successfully, but I could not get my access code. I was forced to wait for over an hour at the train station while trying to resolve this. I was stuck in a frustrating loop with a chatbot that kept insisting the code was in my booking details (it was not). Only after I finally managed to reach a real person was the access code sent to me. To make matters worse, I was then informed that a serviceman would need to enter my room for repairs the next day between 10 AM and 2 PM. I was shocked by this, especially since I had an important work video call scheduled for that exact time. This forced me to find a quiet café to work from, leading to additional expenses. My rating for service and confidentiality is very low. The lack of communication and respect for a guest's privacy and schedule is unacceptable."

"Friendly and effort. Old baking cleanness leaves to desire. No heating, no fence in the bathroom. Heating body old and could tolerate a strap. After the heating body, black spinning tissues have not been cleaned there for years. Under the bed, the rivers have been steaming for years. When you take the bed, you have to see it. On the closet, you have been stepping longer and waste from the predecessor. In a shower with black fungi. The toilet wackles, accordingly, the water runs out of the toilet on the ground. Breakfast is sufficient but no choice. Each gets the same on a table. No buffet."

"The thing that lets this hotel down is the instructions to drive to it which have not improved since the last review 10 years ago. Google does not work and the Hôtel instructions do not start early enough. We drove round and round and had to park and walk on foot. Then the lift to the underground carpark didn’t work. Basically after 5 minutes it had not arrived so had to lug cases up stairs whereupon the lift was still not working. Pictures misleading. No view of river. However clean, comfy bed, good shower and good breakfast"
