Hotel New Otani Saga

Hotel Route-Inn Saga Ekimae
"The hotel is located right across from JR Saga Station. The staff provides excellent service. The room is spacious enough to accommodate two large suitcases, and the bed is comfortable. Amenities are provided in the room. Breakfast is served in a buffet style. While the selection may not be very diverse, it meets standard expectations."

Kumanokawa Hot Springs Onsen Minshuku Mimi
"This was my first time staying at a bed and breakfast (B&B), and the shared bathroom and sink were somewhat inconvenient. The hot springs are family-style, but due to the lack of a separate heating system, it was quite cold even in early March. However, the hot spring water was relatively good. Even with the room heater on, the room was still a bit chilly, and the refrigerator provided was unclean and very unclean. The breakfast selection was decent, but I wish some of the food was served a little warmer."
Ryokan Tokyoya
"This hot spring inn is run by a very warm and welcoming elderly lady, making us feel right at home. The inn is clean and hygienic, with new facilities, and the Japanese-style rooms are quite warm at night. The location is excellent, right next to the bus stop from Saga Station. The lady's service was superb; she thoughtfully prepared dinner and breakfast for us. Dinner was generous and delicious, and breakfast was also very nice. The inn's hot spring water is around 38 degrees Celsius, originating from the "Xu Fu Spring" discovered by Xu Fu, who sought the elixir of immortality during the Qin Dynasty. At this temperature, you could soak in the hot spring all day—it was wonderful. I hope to have the opportunity to come again. Thank you so much for the lady's hospitality."
Suginoya
"It’s an absolute bliss to stay in Suginoya, a luxurious ryokan in Saga. Our saga beef sukiyaki dinner was truly memorable as the quality of the meat was top notch- so soft yet flavorful, something we will remember for a long time. We enjoyed relaxing in the private and public bath, soaking in the zen vibes of the hotel and lounging in the spacious and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and tried to converse in English as best as possible. 100% recommend as we felt fully pampered here like it was our honeymoon all over again!"
Oyado Yumechidori
"I had a nice and quiet rest"
Oogiya Ryokan
"This is a small ryokan in a small hot spring village. It's charmingly decorated and offers plenty of space to relax. The rooms are a good size and well-appointed. The lush green scenery outside the window was a delight. I ordered dinner and breakfast, and both were delicious. After checking in, I took a walk around the village. Right next to it was a stream with clear water and a walking path, and the neighborhood itself was beautiful. There's a very cute cafe nearby called "oriori." Buses run intermittently, and you can get there by taking bus number 70 from Saga Station. I rented a car, and it's a great place to visit the Imari pottery village in the west, Takeo Shrine, the library, and Nanatsugama on the north coast. It's also not far from the Yoshinogari ruins in the east. However, there were a few disappointments. I had soba for lunch, and was a little surprised to see it again for dinner. I expected dinner to be a Japanese home-cooked meal, so I was a little disappointed. Since it's a hot springs town, I was looking forward to the hot springs, but the baths were too small and the water was lukewarm, so I only used them in the evenings. When I first arrived and looked for the hotel, the sign was only in Japanese and was hidden, so I had to circle around a few times to find it. Still, I think it's a pretty romantic place to stay."
Ryokan Yamatoya
"Very kind and good impression from the first time you enter. The meal is also very good and the condition and atmosphere of the facilities are excellent. I'm happy with the opportunity to taste alcohol in Saga area. It's a treasure-like inn for saga. Thanks for the healing time"
Hotel Ryutouen
"Comfortable and clean! It's just that when I booked the room, it was a more expensive room facing the river, but when I checked in, it was a room facing the mountain. Maybe there was a mistake?"
Tsukasa Ryokan
"I loved this place. I felt so relaxed and looked after with an amazing service. The room was fantastic. I loved the modern Japanese traditional style. I will come back one day🙏🦚"
