"Just stayed for one night, was very close to ports. Short drive to city town and beaches. Could take bus 1 or 2 into town, parking is very hard to find. The hotel had a nice style to it they serve breakfast for a fee, and offer restaurant food all day. Our room was stuffy when we walked in A/C thermometer was on 24c so we went down stairs and in 5 mins our room was changed with no issues. We also arrived early and had no issues getting our room. The room are very clean and comfortable. Staff super professional and friendly."

"Stayed in Sep 2023. Room was clean and a good size. Bathroom was perfectly acceptable and the shower was great (good pressure). Our window opened up onto the car park (so no real view of such) and there was a bar about 50 yds down from our room. Quite lively in the evening but only the super sensitive would be affected by the noise. Reception staff were friendly. About a 10-15 min drive into the centre of Santander (5 miles). 5 min drive to get to the major ring roads/motorway."

"The air conditioning in the room did not work. As soon as I entered the room I made the comment and they said it was a general problem with the hotel. The hotel's solution was: "we will refund your money and find a hotel." Yes of course, of course! I make a reservation 2 months before and on vacation I'm going to go out and look for a hotel the same day with the price they want to charge me. They reluctantly offered me a 15% discount on the bill as an exceptional favor that I did not accept due to bad timing. Then they cared very little whether I could sleep or not, which I had to do with the window open and the buzzing of the mosquitoes. The front desk person ended up using foul language. In bad taste and clearly the client is not only not right but they don't care."

"High quality hotel situated in a very good location easily within walking distance to the beaches and local restaurants and bars. Room was clean and well appointed with air conditioning. Staff were friendly and efficient. No problem recommending this hotel. The outside look of the hotel is not particularly attractive but inside it is what one would expect from a 4 star hotel."

"I can't remember a worse hotel in my life. I don't understand how IMSERSO (the Spanish government's social services agency) continues to offer this hotel. Breakfast and dinner were meager and poor. Dinner was served at a fixed time. If you're not careful, you'll go hungry. Ceiling tiles in the bathroom were falling off, the wardrobe was broken and covered in paint stains, the bed was rock hard, impossible to sleep on. Door bottoms were gaping from the dampness of the mop. There were no electrical outlets. I had to unplug the TV to charge my phone. The toilet was loose and wobbly. There was a dangerous outlet a foot away from the toilet, plugging in a heater that didn't work and whose underside hadn't been cleaned in years. In short, the worst hotel of my life. I've read similar reviews and complaints to mine, and IMSERSO seems oblivious, and to top it all off, it boasts three stars. UNBELIEVABLE!!! 😡🤬😤"

"The apartments have paper walls. You hear everything. The neighbors seem to be in our room. It is awful. You can't sleep. Without a doubt I will not return to this accommodation again. It's a shame because it's in a quiet place. But if you can't sleep we won't repeat."
