"What a wonderful place. This hotel, although pricey, is well worth it. The views from the room are spectacular. We didn’t really want to leave the room just so we could soak up the vista, human and wild life passing by. I’d fully recommend a room with an outside balcony. Each evening there is a cheese and wine tasting. This can be taken in your room if requested. This is a highlight of the stay. Breakfast is continental, but the quality of the offerings was at the very highest of standards. Fresh fruit and bakeries plus freshly brewed coffee and teas. This can also be requested for the room. Point to note: the volume of supplies is limited so your favourite cake or croissant may be taken if you have a lie-in. The rooms and furnishings are top notch. The bed was comfy and there is seating and reading material provided in the room for consumption. The bathrooms are well equipped. There was no noise to affect our stay. Parking is limited, but it’s all valet and the hotel are very accommodating for both leaving and arrivals throughout the stay. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. If you are looking for a higher end stay location you can’t go wrong with The Inn Above Tide. Highly recommend."
