B&B Torre Talao ★★★★

📍 145 Corso Mediterraneo, Scalea

"This was a last-minute stop in our itinerary and therefore I did not have especially high expectations. This B and B was much much nicer than what I expected. The host is a lovely man who is very helpful. The room was spacious, modern, functional, and clean. The host was very nice and served us an excellent and customized breakfast. The location is great: 2 minutes from the beach but also 2 minutes from the town where we discovered very nice bars and restaurants. I highly recommend it!"

La Suite del Faro ★★★★

📍 Via Guttuso, 4, Scalea

"A beautiful, well maintained property. We were the only guests on a night in mid May. The patio surrounds a sparkling pool and has loungers and seating. Unobstructed views of the bay. The room was well equipped and there was strong wi Fi throughout the property. Breakfast was fresh, more than ample and served at a table on the patio. Sergio, the manager was a delight. Parking was free and easy."

B&B Scalea Rooms ★★★
"The hotel is very conveniently located: close to the old town and the beach, and a five-minute walk from a large supermarket. The train station is a 20-minute walk away. Although the common areas of the hotel need renovation, my room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. I felt very comfortable."

Hotel Santa Caterina Village Club ★★★★
"I would give this hotel a maximum of three stars. The hotel grounds and surroundings look as if time has stood still, and the Village section resembles an old, run-down hospital rather than a holiday resort. However, the room itself was nice. The food was average but repetitive. Breakfast was particularly disappointing, with very limited variety and pretty much the same options every day. What really saved the holiday was the beautiful beach and the wonderfully clean, calm sea. Overall, this hotel may be satisfactory for less demanding guests, but it could definitely use some improvements."

Hotel Parco Dei Principi ★★★
"Our experience at Hotel Parco Dei Principi was nothing short of magical! The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and every moment exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely divine, thanks to Chef Francesco and his incredible culinary artistry. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and creativity. Dining at the hotel was an experience we’ll never forget; it was indeed a feast for the senses! To top it all off, the talented photographer Mimo can capture the most cherished memories with stunning photos that will be a treasure forever. His ability to bring out the beauty of the location and the moments that are being shared is truly remarkable. If you’re looking for exceptional service, world-class cuisine, and a place that will make you feel like you’re living in a dream, look no further than Hotel Parco Dei Principi. Highly recommend—this is a destination you’ll never want to leave! ❤️"

B&B Torre Talao ★★★★
"Scalea is a beautiful town, with lots to offer. We were there for the beaches, exploring the hill towns, and enjoying the ambiance of Scalea itself. Our home base for 5 nights was the B&B Torre Talao. We felt both cared for and pampered by our host Vittorio. Our room was immaculate and had a very comfortable bed and great pillows too. The air conditioning unit worked flawlessly, although we didn’t need it everyday, as the weather was gorgeous all week. We could leave the door to our balcony open at times during the day as the October weather has no insects to intrude across the street from the ocean where the inn sits. Each morning we were treated to a sumptuous breakfast and delicious cappuccino outside on the balcony of the dining area. I mean a real full breakfast of eggs, bacon, prosciutto, Calabrian cheese and breads. All of this being served by Vittorio and his staff. He was helpful for all of our questions for enjoying Scalea. For example, he knows the best restaurants and has contacts at all of them. Each day he inquired as to how we were doing, making sure we had slept well and had no issues at all. We never did. For us, our time there was special. We actually extended our stay a couple of extra nights, as we had the best time of our Italian vacation there."
