"Lovely hotel right on the beach. Very clean, well kept gardens and pool. Great view of the beach from our room. A lido at the beach with free chairs and umbrella. Had a delicious lunch. Service is great and servers are really nice. Delicious dinner at their restaurant and breakfast was good too. Had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend it."

Parking was free and easy."

"Excellent accommodation in Scalea. We stayed there on the first and last day of our cycling trip around Calabria. The location is very good, the cleanliness of all the rooms is exceptional. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. Mr. Vitorio is an exceptional host. He helped us with advice, organized affordable transport for us together with the bikes in a van. We also had the bikes safely stored in the apartment overnight. I highly recommend it."

"It was my first time in Italy. We were there 11 days with 2 children. The city Scalela and this hotel Parco dei principi are now my best, what can I met. All was beautifull, but not cheap. The place is very good, eating and drinking super. Staff ok. All the best was the beach near the hotel and animation with Fashion Club. Animation for kids, teens and adults. Junior club with mega Gabrielle - we love it. It was our dream for the holiday. Sport activity with this boy was wonderfull. I recommend that."

"We are a Canadian couple who travelled to Puglia and Calabria in September. We were so fortunate to stay at the BandB Torre Talao in the picturesque town of Scalea for five days. Our host, Vittorio runs a superb BandB. Vittorio is very knowledgeable about his home town Scalea and the surrounding area. Most importantly he is a delightful person and we enjoyed lots of chats over breakfast, which was made to order. Bacon and Eggs and the best cappuccino. The recently renovated accommodation is elegantly appointed, spacious and spotless. The balcony gives you a view of the sea and the beach. A perfect spot for a glass of wine. We enjoyed walking in the old town and climbing up to the church on top of the hill. A walk through history. Vittorio arranged for us to have a private tour to Maratera and other picturesque towns along the coast. If possible we suggest taking this tour with Gian Paola Presta. This location was a highlight of our trip and suggest travellers consider Scalea and the BandB Torre Talao."

"I enjoyed my stay in the hotel Parco dei Principi in Scalea, Calabria. The hotel offers everything you need for a holiday at the sea. The rooms are clean, the towels are changed every day, the staff is kind and very helpful. I enjoyed the very, very delicious meals. Everything was very tasty. I appreciated that every room has its own umbrella and a set of deckchairs on the beach. There is Interspar near as well as some other shops. The centre of the town is easily accessible on foot."
