"Relatively new hotel. Located next to main highway, only problem with driving is having to make a long way along the highway to u turn, otherwise pleasant place to stay. Breakfast average. Onsen average."

"The hotel is very close to Fuji Station, right outside the exit. The facilities are a bit old, but the rooms are larger than those in Tokyo. Overall, it's clean and offers good value for money. There aren't many convenience stores nearby; you have to walk a bit to find a 7-Eleven, but there's a small convenience store next to the ticket gate inside Fuji Station that can suffice. Although it's next to the station, it's relatively quiet at night, as JR Tokai doesn't have many late-night services. On clear days, you can see Mount Fuji from the pedestrian bridge at the station. Fuji Station is served by the Tokaido Main Line and the Minobu Line (terminus). Fuji City isn't a tourist city; it's an industrial one, so a one-day trip to hit the main spots is usually enough."

"Was happy with the room size and beds. Room size was big and we enjoyed the space.. Location was great. Just outside the hotel and u can see Mt Fuji. Walked 5 minutes to the main shopping street for food n other activities. We misplace a jacket and called reception. They responded very quickly to our issue. Great service. "This is a standard, older Japanese hotel with all the necessary amenities. The service is typical Japanese standard. Downstairs in the lobby, there's a manga collection. From the room, you can directly see Mount Fuji. However, transportation is inconvenient for foreigners as there's no subway in the city; you'll need a taxi. A taxi ride costs about 50 RMB."

"Similar to a Japanese-style youth hostel, there is no private bathroom. The clerk is very enthusiastic. There is free flow of wine and soft drinks. The hygiene of the east and west buildings needs to be improved, and there are cockroaches in the public restrooms. Bathroom slippers and indoor slippers feel unhygienic."

"This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and initially, I found the high level of self-service a bit overwhelming. Perhaps it was because there were so many guests and everything moved at a fast pace. I think it's more suited for experienced business travelers. The English proficiency of the front desk staff wasn't as good as I'd hoped, and this was consistent across every Toyoko Inn I stayed at afterward. Maybe because of the extensive self-service, the front desk's role is more auxiliary, so strong English skills aren't as crucial. Like all other Toyoko Inns, this one had excellent facilities: water dispensers, ice machines, hot water dispensers, microwaves, coffee makers, vending machines – everything you could need. The breakfast was standard and featured Japanese specialties. The location is unbeatable, just a three-minute walk from the Shin-Fuji Station exit. If I had to pick a downside, the highly standardized management meant it lacked the 'personal touch' many people look for in a hotel. Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced, and the hotel only handles matters related to your stay; they won't help with local travel guides or transportation questions."

"[Cost-effective sauna with Mt. Fuji views] I had a business trip near Fuji Station and discovered this rooftop sauna with Mt. Fuji views, so I decided to give it a try. You can use just the sauna, but I booked an overnight stay with breakfast. While there's also a private sauna space on the first floor, the main sauna is on the rooftop. The sauna itself is small, fitting about four people at most. However, depending on the time of day, there might be no other users, allowing for a relaxed and leisurely sauna experience. Best of all, if the weather is clear, you get a close and clear view of Mt. Fuji 🗻 from the rooftop, and the view during the open-air bath is simply incredible. For breakfast, guests can choose between a Japanese set meal or a bagel sandwich upon arrival. I opted for the Japanese set meal this time. They asked for my preferred breakfast time in advance, and everything was ready when I arrived, which made for a smooth experience. If I have another chance to be in the area, I would definitely love to stay here again."

"I visit Fujicity for business twice a year, and this is always my go-to hotel. It's conveniently located near my workplace. There's a great restaurant right next door (where you can also enjoy drinks), a convenience store just around the corner, and even a ramen shop nearby. The only minor drawback is its distance from Shin-Fuji Station."
