Hotel Solaia
"1h bus ride from Ponta Gardena train station. Perfect starting point for exploring the dolomites with trails and cable cars at your door step. Staff super friendly (just be mindful of their available hours as the reception is closed at times). The room I booked was basic with no amenities (no fridge, no kettle). Local supermarkets close around 7pm so plan accordingly! All in all great stay, thank you!"
Linder Cycling Hotel
"Everything good"
Residence Antares
"The price is reasonable. Our family of four has two bedrooms and a living room that are very spacious, clean and convenient. The hotel is also in a good location, about a 15-minute drive from Blade's Edge Mountain. The hotel has its own parking lot for self-driving tourists."
Freina Mountain Lifestyle Hotel
"We stayed at hotel Freina in early February. We had stayed previously 9 years ago. The hotel has change greatly with a lot of modernisation but the overall feel had not changed. The family and staff are so friendly. The service was wonderful. Special mention to Roberto, Manuel and Thiago who looked after us very well. The breakfasts and dinners were wonderful. The hotel is truly ski in and ski out. The boot room has had a significant upgrade which was a real treat. As a large family group we have a very pleasant stay and will be back."
Hotel Granbaita Dolomites
"2nd time here and brought the family this time. They loved it. A special treat for them all. Loved every minute of our stay here. All the staff lovely and helpful as usual. Cocktails great Francesco, Mirko thank u again. Went beyond to help with everything. Food was lovely as always. Can’t wait to return next year."

"Excellent reception, hospitality and family friendliness. Delicious breakfast every morning and ski and ski out access right through the back door of the hotel. Highly recommend for your next Dolemite adventure."

Hotel Continental Dolomites
"My husband and I loved our stay here. The owner works at the front and takes great care of guests. This was one of our favorite stays out of 4 different hotels on our Europe trip. The family run hotel is cleaner, nicer, and has more amenities than half the US hotels today. It’s located right across the street from the Danterceipes gondola. We stayed during at end of summer but I am sure this would also be a great location during ski season. We visited the spa with saunas and whirlpool while here and also enjoyed drinks at the bar and the five course dinner our last night. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice place to stay while exploring the Dolomites! It’s really close to a lot of great gondolas/hikes/ski runs"
Suites Hotel Garden
"Family stay of 4, second time around, like it second time as well. Will come back again. Great value for money. Clean, spacious. Note that you need to pay a separate fee if you want to use the kitchen. Not that expensive and worth it with feeding kids. Another plus is the 2 bathrooms. We’ll definitely stay again! Thanks for everything."
Hotel Tyrol
"Gorgeous renovated hotel. Luxurious upholstery and furnishings everywhere. The spa includes indoor and outdoor pools and multiple saunas. Meals were good. Cozy intimate bar, The hotel staff is kind and attentive. Surrounded by gorgeous mountains and trails."
Muline Lodge
Hotel Antares
"Great service. Surprise early check in when we came to put bags in for luggage storage. Close to bus station"
Giardin Boutique Hotel B&B
"We had such a fantastic week skiing in Val Gardena, and staying at your beautiful hotel made it even better. Your kindness, hospitality, and all the great tips on where to ski (and where to eat!) really made our trip special. We looked forward to your advice every single day. Tami and I absolutely loved exploring the Selva area, but honestly, what we’ll remember most is how warm and welcoming you and your team were. You helped create a memory we’ll hold onto for a long time. You, your staff, and your hotel get an easy 10/10 from us. We really hope to see you both again in 2028!"
Boutique Hotel Nives - Luxury & Design in the Dolomites
"We loved EVERYTHING about this amazing hotel! The staff was so helpful and kind. Our room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious. What a wonderful experience. We would love to go back in the winter for skiing. Highly highly recommend! And their bunnies in the garden are adorable too♥️♥️♥️♥️"
Hotel Miravalle
"We just returned from a week at Miravalle Hotel, travelling with family and friends, staying respectively in Rooms 302 (Suite Tirolese) and 201 (Suite Blu). This hotel style Chalet is situated on top of a small hill, allowing guests to ski-in/ski-out directly from the modern, well-equipped ski lockers. Each locker has heated sticks for boots, together with bathroom facilities and a direct private lift using your own key card room to get in and out. ROOMS: Our two Suites had large balconies with stunning South/West views of the village and mountains, with plenty of sun (when the weather is good, which was the case when we stayed there). The suites had plenty of wardrobes/storage which came helpful when traveling with families. The beds were comfortable, with a sofa bed for our teenagers. Bathrooms came with plenty of towels changed every day, and additional SPA towels to use in the pool and sauna/steam room which you dispose of in the SPA area and they are replaced every day in your room the next morning. The hotel also provides shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, replenish every day, but we brought our own so we didn't use many of these. The rooms were also equipped with an undercounter fridge which was very helpful to store our water, etc. While Miravalle doesn't provide a so-called "Mini Bar" in the room, you will find a local supermarket, Despar, just an 8 minute walk away, where you can get anything you need to store for your week skiing. SPA/POOL: The SPA area is quite stunning. It occupies an entire floor, which not only consists of a beautiful indoor/outdoor pool, but also offers several treatment rooms, two saunas, steamed room, relaxing room with water beds, herbal tea & water facilities, and so on. I had 3 treatments during my stay and my teenage daughter booked one too, and the therapist made everything possible to bring a relaxing experience. Such a treat after a day skiing. BREAKFAST/DINNER: We booked the "Half Board" basis for our week. The buffet breakfast is plenty, from Italian cured meats to fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, Italian cakes (so delicious), croissants, all sort of breads, cereals, teas (from the normal English tea to a large selection of very healthy tea options), coffee, etc. They cater for everyone and it is impossible to leave hungry. Now, when it comes to dinner time, the Hotel Miravalle certainly didn't disappoint: not only we had a "starter buffet" every night, which consisted of Italian cured meats (in all different sorts), cooked vegetables, potato salad, artichokes, balsamic onions, beetroot, and the list doesn't end, but all of this also included a four / five course dinner on top to follow, such as an Antipasti, First Course, Second Course, Cheese Tray, and Dessert. Every night differed and you only had to select your next dinner menu on the following morning, choosing between several options. Since we travelled with a child suffering from severe nut allerg"
Hotel Monte44
"This year, after 3 years of going to Selva di Val Gardena in September, we changed accommodation and went to the Monte 44 hotel. With us we had our two poodles, the spacious, clean and welcoming room with parquet, had a comfortable terrace. The breakfast was very well prepared and made with local products. The SPA is not very large but welcoming, with an external and heated hydromassage tub, offering a pleasant view of the Selva valley. The owner was very kind and available for explanations and advice on things to see. In conclusion, recommended"
Grand Hotel Wolkenstein
"The room was perfect. Large, lots of light, storage, a balcony, split bathroom. The bed was soo comfy and the linens were always pristine. There was a 'spa basket' with pool sandals and bathrobes. The lobby, bar, and restaurant were first class. And the food was simply excellent. A fabulous breakfast buffet with so many options and a five course dinner every evening. The outdoor area is beautiful, the pool is such a treat and there are little private areas to enjoy. There are saunas and steamrooms and... It was just fabulous."
Boutique & Fashion Hotel Maciaconi - Gardenahotels
"Everything within the spa and hotel is finished to the highest standard all very clean and new. Quiet location. With direct access with the bus outside or on foot to the slopes . We didn’t eat in their restaurant but the breakfast had a good selection . Staff were very helpful "
Hotel Oswald
"We stayed here for 8 nights in March. Nice central location in Selva, although it is on the main road, which means traffic noise. The rooms are nice, although they lack coffee or tea pots. The wifi works well. The bar is nice, but the bartenders are slow. The breakfast was good, but the breakfast area is small, and there are no tables for four near the windows. The elevators are quite small. The wellness center and ski room are fine. What is NOT GOOD is the 5-course dinners offered. We payed for full board, but the DINNERS WERE SO BAD that we started going out to eat instead. The chef needs to be replaced. Also, the hotel has part of a parking garge, but you have to park on the lower level. If you park on the first level like we did, then you get charged 12 euros a day. This was information the receptionist failed to mention when we arrived. All in all, I would return to the Oswald, but I would park in the right place and eat my dinners elsewhere. Live and learn."
