Angels Boutique - Turismo de Interior

Angels Boutique - Turismo de Interior ★★★

📍 Carrer dels Angels, 22, Selva

"Hotel with a lot of charm and precision in every detail, everything renovated and new, the pool is beautiful and very quiet, the breakfast was great! You can park easily and for free. I didn't give it a 5 because the bed was quite uncomfortable and if you want to go unnoticed it's not your place. I felt a little overwhelmed by the owner who controlled all the movements at breakfast and asked each guest how everything had gone."

Petit Caimari - Turismo de Interior ★★★

📍 Carrer de s'Horitzó, 14, Caimari

"Lovely little hotel, recently tastefully renovated whilst retaining bags of character. Our room was spacious enough for two adults and a child to live in comfort. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom are a nice touch and the breakfast is fantastic - perfect for setting you up for a day of hiking the stunning local trails. The pool area is a lovely relaxing oasis Locally there’s a public outdoor swimming pool five minutes walk away and enough good quality restaurants so you don’t have to drive to eat in the evening. Service is friendly and attentive. In conclusion I rate this place and would happily return."

"The location is just outside the main square and town but an easy and short walk to both. Facilities extremely well maintained and updated. Breakfast always well presented and very tasty. Alex and Susan excellent hosts and they are most welcoming and willing to always go the extra mile to ensure your comfort and enjoyment during your stay. If you enjoy biking, there is a rental shop close by. The hotel also has a room for bikes and a good supply of water is always on hand for your bottles. This stay was even better than the first in 2022. We will be back again. Thanks Alex and Susan for making us feel so at home"

"Just had a week here and absolutely loved staying here. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel and pool area are immaculate. We hired bikes locally and they have a big storage garage. It is right in the heart of Selva which is a lovely little village with a nice square and a few nice little bars. We ate out at some amazing local restaurants. Thanks again to the wonderful staff at the hotel we will be back."

Angels Boutique - Turismo de Interior ★★★
"This is obviously a fairly newly opened hotel, the rooms are clean and fairly well appointed, with fridge and blackout curtain. There was complimentary water on the first day. The large bed is actually two single beds pushed together making a super-king. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept in and quite hard. Only one long microfibre pillow per person and a small cushion shaped pillow. Bed is dressed nicely with scatter cushions and blanket (I always discard these, not knowing who has sat on them!). Functional shower room, clean but no make up mirror and the lighting is quite dim. Complimentary shampoo and soap are of the basic variety so you might like to bring your own. Hairdryer is provided but very weak. Shower leaks a bit onto the floor and the hot water is fed from solar panels so if it's been a bit cloudy your hot water will be tepid. Nice breakfast, attentive and friendly service. The small pool outside is a real sun trap and it is nice to sit outside with a book. A few niggles and points for other travellers: no car park, the streets are incredibly narrow and the hotel is situated on a steep hill so you have to be confident with your driving to negotiate your way there. If you're lucky, you might get a parking spot outside (if you're confident parallel parking on a hill) – if not there is plenty of parking at the bottom of the hill, but it is quite a walk up with luggage. There is no concierge, you are given a key code to enter and a key card for your room. At the time of our stay, the lift was broken. There is no handrail on the staircase and if you are leaving early in the morning the staircase lighting is not switched on so you will need a torch. Despite there being no information on the website about rooms with balconies, I did notice one room had a balcony/terrace which looked really nice. One final point, the doors to the rooms need to be shut really firmly otherwise they fly open for no apparent reason once you have closed them! The town is very picturesque with quite a few restaurants to choose from. A great place to stay overall."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The location in the mountains is stunning and feels like a real hidden gem from all of the coastal resort hotels. The views from every point of the hotel are stunning, but the swimming pool really stole the show with the vineyard in the background - our toddler loved exploring here and the gardens. The room was spacious and we were always greeted with a smile. Car hire is a must, but I feel this should be standard to explore this beautiful island. Would highly recommend and would love to return again"

Hotel Can Riera ★★★★
"A haven of peace in the heart of the mountains We had a wonderful stay at the Can Riera Hotel. The hotel is situated in a magnificent setting, surrounded by nature, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. However, a car is absolutely necessary to get there and explore the surrounding area. The service was excellent, with respectful, discreet, and very professional staff. The breakfast was generous, with plenty of fresh fruit, which was a real plus. The rooms were comfortable and clean. An ideal place to recharge, far from the hustle and bustle, in an authentic environment."

"While this hotel had some flaws, the good far exceeded the bad. We arrived late and had previously been given a code to let us in after hours since reception was closed. We were exhausted and ready to relax when we walked in to find our room smelled strongly of sewage. We were then disappointed to see only one pillow on the bed. We slept with the windows open to air out the room. We went to bed questioning our hotel choice, but when we woke up in the morning there was no trace of the scent. We went down to breakfast where Catalina greeted us and prepared us a meal fit for a king. She seemed to genuinely care about ensuring our needs were met. She then offered us extra bedding or pillows!! So that was our fault for arriving late, we could have had more had we arrived before reception closed. We slept much better the following night, and experienced no more smells. Breakfast was once again delightful thanks to Catalina. She also arranged a taxi for us to the airport, stowed our bags so that we could explore the town prior to our departure, and allowed us to use the facilities after we had checked out. We would 100 percent recommend and stay here again. "

"Absolutely wonderful in every way. Hubby and I decided to push the boat out and treat ourselves to a half board break in mid March. We can honestly say this was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in, including for the marvellous comfortable bed, the simple (but excellent quality) decor, the glorious quiet location and superb food but above all the hospitality. It was a little too cool for the swimming pool but we loved the private warm (solar heated) plunge pool in the garden, and the sauna. So relaxing. We loved just walking out of the front door, testing some of the recommended walks and visiting a few bars in the neighbouring villages to share a friendly beer with the locals. Everyone at Ca’n Beneit was genuinely happy to see us and so helpful and welcoming. We felt properly like welcome guests, not just clients. (Incidentally this was in total contrast to the offhand, slightly obsequious and uncomfortable service we got a few days later in a fancy new hotel in Pollença, one which was totally style over substance and very disappointingly so, considering the rate). Thank you Toni and team, your finca is everything a really good hotel should be. We loved it and have already booked again for the autumn."

"Had a lovely stay here and they definitely deserve all of the great reviews. Susan was so friendly and helpful and gave me one of the nicest rooms i have stayed in on the island so far. Actually correction, it was the nicest. Lovely decor, spotlessly clean and very peaceful. You can tell the whole place is a labour of love for the owners. Pool great, breakfast great (Stacey also lovely), view great. Would definitely stay again."

Can Cota Boutique - Turismo de Interior ★★★★
"I stayed here with a few other cyclists I rode with for a few days. Bikes can be stored in the garage with easy access/exit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast only so other meals must be eaten off site although there are several nice hotels within walking distance. I stayed in room #5 which is accessed via the lobby entrance. The A/C is not turned on until "summer" which although quite common in Europe in general, was unfortunate as the weekend I was there, the temps were in the low 90's F. Although there is a patio window exit to small patio with two lounge chairs, the patio is next door to the lobby patio with only a few plants to separate the two patios so it would have been easy to enter the room if the patio window was left open at night to help cool the room down. Another issue is that there were some ants regularly crawling around the desk table top."

" Lovely managed hotel in a very originally beautiful mallorquian place. Sa Bisbal and Can Cota belong together. I don't know why they are always shown separately. The highlight is breakfast on the beautiful terrace. Every day there is a fresh preparation here (e.g. Tortilla Brava). In addition, there is everything you want in very good quality. The rooms and the hotel are partly historic, but well in the shot. We felt very well here. A perfect hotel for bicycle or excursion holidays, as you can reach everything very well from Selva. What I missed at full point: - Parking situation sometimes difficult. At least one private parking is designated. In fact, you just need to park on the street, for which you should be able to a) have happiness and b) park well - What, although a certain charm goes away and on the expense of comfort, e.g. in the shower and the toilet (no water pressure, etc) - Air conditioning did not - beds very hard. Although we were friendlyly brought a topper, he unfortunately did not even get it out so right but it clearly overweight the positive. Clear further recommendation"
