"A beautifully situated, small, personally run, and very well-maintained finca hotel on the edge of the Tramuntana Mountains, far from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished. We also had a fantastic little rooftop terrace with a wonderful panoramic view. We were offered a complimentary upgrade, which made our stay even more relaxing. Thank you again so much for that. Breakfast was excellent and served on a terrace with another beautiful view. Dinner was equally lovely. There's a nice little sauna, and we also enjoyed the massage offered. The entire team was always friendly and accommodating, providing us with tips and recommendations. Many thanks also for the little gifts we found in our room every evening. We arrived late on our first evening and, even though the kitchen had already closed, were still treated to a delicious dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to the entire team! We would love to come back."

"A haven of peace in the heart of the mountains We had a wonderful stay at the Can Riera Hotel. The hotel is situated in a magnificent setting, surrounded by nature, perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. However, a car is absolutely necessary to get there and explore the surrounding area. The service was excellent, with respectful, discreet, and very professional staff. The breakfast was generous, with plenty of fresh fruit, which was a real plus. The rooms were comfortable and clean. An ideal place to recharge, far from the hustle and bustle, in an authentic environment."

"We felt very comfortable and well-cared for at Marina's superb little hotel. The rooms are very nice, beautifully renovated, and everything is clean and comfortable. The fantastic breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, and Marina is very accommodating and super friendly. We really enjoyed Selva with its pretty market square and its bars serving delicious tapas. 100% recommendation"

"While this hotel had some flaws, the good far exceeded the bad. We arrived late and had previously been given a code to let us in after hours since reception was closed. We were exhausted and ready to relax when we walked in to find our room smelled strongly of sewage. We were then disappointed to see only one pillow on the bed. We slept with the windows open to air out the room. We went to bed questioning our hotel choice, but when we woke up in the morning there was no trace of the scent. We went down to breakfast where Catalina greeted us and prepared us a meal fit for a king. She seemed to genuinely care about ensuring our needs were met. She then offered us extra bedding or pillows!! So that was our fault for arriving late, we could have had more had we arrived before reception closed. We slept much better the following night, and experienced no more smells. Breakfast was once again delightful thanks to Catalina. She also arranged a taxi for us to the airport, stowed our bags so that we could explore the town prior to our departure, and allowed us to use the facilities after we had checked out. We would 100 percent recommend and stay here again. "

My Husband and I spent the morning with biketours and the afternoon at the pool. Selva is a small town with good restaurant. If you like to shop Selva is not the right place :) We will absolutely come back to Can Cota"

"Just returned from a 7 night holiday which extended to 9 nights courtesy of BA cancelling our flight home due to adverse weather conditions at Heathrow . Staff were super helpful with both our hotel and car hire extensions . All the other reviews are spot on - hotel is great , breakfast and dinner are delightful and all the staff are friendly and efficient . We had a master suite which was lovely with 2 balconies - shade or sun which ever you wished for . Totally recommended ."

"The internet connection kept dropping throughout my stay, and there were also repeated power outages. The cleanliness and overall upkeep of the room left much to be desired, and the staff were not particularly helpful. This was supposed to be a quiet and relaxing place, but the large number of unsupervised children at the pool, with no intervention from staff despite them disturbing other guests, completely ruined the initially positive impression."

"Hotel with a lot of charm and precision in every detail, everything renovated and new, the pool is beautiful and very quiet, the breakfast was great! You can park easily and for free. I didn't give it a 5 because the bed was quite uncomfortable and if you want to go unnoticed it's not your place. I felt a little overwhelmed by the owner who controlled all the movements at breakfast and asked each guest how everything had gone."

"Fantastic stay during a 4-night cycling trip on the island. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great amenities (although I didn’t go fully into the pool in March!) including cycle store with tools. Twin room was spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast selection including warm items cooked to order. Location was perfect for cycling and accessing all the big climbs. There are a few nice local restaurants and Selva is only 15 mins walk away too."

"This was a real find for our stay in Selva. The room was spacious and very well appointed with a great balcony view looking over the valley and out to the hills. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order each day and there is a great choice of cereal, breads, cheese and meat. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool area is very comfortable with lots of seating and loungers and a lovely infinity pool. This is a great place to stay in the Selva region."
