One person checking in and cleaning the rooms! Terrible result! Everyone waiting for the rooms and then finding them unimpressive. Rating 0000000. Never again!"

"This was a great place for my husband and I to go for our little getaway in February - the room we chose was exactly like the picture on the website. We stayed in the Canadaigua Room and we loved that we could watch the sunset on Lake Seneca. The owner was great with texting you directions, places to eat and wineries to go to within the area and what was open in February. Also the breakfast Cass served was so tasty and it filled us to dinner. We would highly recommend this place for some down time."

"Oh boy... Where to begin. Staff seemed overwhelmed and frazzled. The room was outrageously overpriced for area and amenities. Bar/restaurant closed, no ice maker on floor, elevator in poor condition (dirty, doors scratched), common areas and stairwells have not been cleaned in ages, overall musty smell throughout, keys deactivated after first night, TV was hung crooked in room, plank flooring was shifting and lifting, toiletries were sample sized and the bare minimum towels were provided, there was an auxiliary air conditioning unit (portable) that was not properly vented out the window and just dangled, everything seemed really haphazard and bleak. Besides the overall neglect and disrepair our bathroom was not cleaned properly prior to arrival and we had to use wipes to clean our toilet seat and wipe hair out of the sink. The bed was comfortable but for the price of almost $250/nt I expected much more than this. I'm sorry to leave this review but it just seems like the new owners are in over their heads."

"Our recent 3 night visit in Seneca Falls at Barrister B&B was primarily to attend a wedding nearby. Also as we are history geeks, we wanted to explore the unique history in other small towns nearby. WOW what a delightful pleasure it was to have discovered this lovely home & meet the hospitable owners, Diane & Ken. Our sweet upstairs Grandma's room had a very comfy king size bed. A special touch was several lovely small wedding pictures of Diane's family ancestors decorating a bureau. A nice spacious immaculate bathroom completed the great space. Downstairs is a parlor for gathering & reading a good book or many of the informational pamphlets. Each morning a delicious fresh farm to table variety breakfasts was crafted by Chef Ken & served on Diane's different assortments of beautiful antique dishes. The artistically presented courses were served to us at the large dining table, while chatting with all the other guests. What a beautiful way to begin each day! Anytime of day, the huge front porch was a special place to relax & enjoy coffee, tea & marvelous chocolate chip cookies or a happy hour libation! It was our favorite place to chill! Watching it rain is a delight too. We definitely plan to return & visit some of the beautiful wineries nearby. Thank you Diane & Ken for becoming our new best friends in Seneca Falls NY!
