"Location is excellent, just a couple of minutes away from the ferry boats to Valletta and a number of good restaurants at a stone throw away. Yet it is quiet and away from the noises. As you are so close to the waterfront, it is a joy to jog or stroll in the early morning or late evening. You can access the roof top through ancient circular staircases for a panoramic view of the city. If you have heavy luggages and weak knees, then it is a challenge to carry it up to the top floor. Breakfast is nice and sufficient, not lavish."

"As expected of the hotel featured in the movie "Detective Conan," the location and environment are indeed excellent. I heard about this hotel because of "Detective Conan" and decided to try it out during my trip to Malta. Located near the Three Cities of Birgu, the hotel is conveniently located with small boats and public ferries to Valletta. Staying here allows you to experience the atmosphere of the old town, which I personally found more immersive than staying in a five-star hotel. The staff were all incredibly welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious! The only thing that surprised me was that one night the water heater suddenly broke down. Repairing it would take several hours, or even longer, and in the end, I had to boil water to shower and wash my hair. This is something I haven't experienced in a hotel of this caliber in a long time. The next day, they gave us an apology letter and a complimentary drink."

"The hotel is very clean and quiet, beds very comfortable. Sleep at night came easy. It is near a busstop. And a few minutes walk to the harbour if you want to take the boat taxis. You’re greeted by your name and a wonderful smell of fresh bread when you come down the stairs for breakfast. There was a new Maltese specialty for us to try each day. You’re given tips about where to go or what to do and how to get there. The water in the rooms is refilled daily. There was a familiarity and friendliness between everyone, the hosts and the guests. I have never experienced this kind of hospitality elsewhere, definitely coming back!"

"We recently spent 3 wonderful nights at Palazzo De La Sengle Boutique Hotel, the city where we use to live for these past 50 years. We had a flawless experience. Timing our stay with the local Senglea feast made it incredibly magical. Our room was beautifully designed, perfectly blending historic charm with modern comfort—and it was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The smal balcony we had was perfect! We could see all the celebrations of the feast from the balcony as it passsed from front of the boutique hotel. The hotel has a perfect location in the main road of Senglea. We also loved the continental breakfast each morning, which offered a wonderful selection of fresh sweet and savory options to start our day. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and it was the ultimate base to enjoy the local celebrations. Staff were very helpful and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The cherry of the cake of our wonderful stay was when Senglea won the Regatta race of the 8th September Regatta. We could easily watch the race from the PONTA, which is situated few distance away from the La Sengle boutique hotel. For sure we will return AGAIN!!! We highly recommend this beautiful boutique oasis in the heart of one of the three cities of Cottonera SENGLEA!"
