Marriott Hotels in Shanghai

This is our second time choosing this hotel. We met Trista, who was so sweet! She helped upgrade my child's breakfast and even prepared cookies for them when we checked in. The service here truly makes you feel at home. I love this place, mainly because it's incredibly convenient. This time, I chose a stay that included breakfast, and I don't regret it at all. There were so many options, and everything was delicious. Right next to the hotel lobby, there's a plaza with a supermarket, McDonald's, and Luckin Coffee. Cross the street, and you'll find tons of great food. Turn another corner, and you're on Nanjing Road, Shanghai's most walkable pedestrian street, with the biggest Pop Mart, Lego store, and M&M's chocolate store. It's so convenient! If you get tired, you can always go back to the hotel to rest before heading out to explore more.

Great service and new facilities. The room was spacious enough, clean, and had a good vibe. The housekeeping auntie was very enthusiastic, proactively asking if we needed anything when we met her in the hallway. Free parking was a big plus! 👍 After checking in, we just registered our license plate and room number at the concierge, and then entering and exiting the parking lot was hassle-free, which was very convenient. Breakfast was also good.

Throughout my stay, I experienced exceptionally thoughtful and professional service, which completely soothed away my travel fatigue. My overall stay was excellent, and I sincerely thank the hotel for its high-quality service. During my check-in, Shermie and Bertha provided incredibly meticulous front desk service. They were highly skilled and efficient in processing my check-in, quickly completing all formalities and saving me a lot of time. When I inquired about local transportation, dining, attractions, and how to use the hotel's facilities, they patiently and thoroughly answered each question, offering practical advice tailored to my travel needs. Faced with my impromptu special requests, they actively coordinated and followed up promptly, demonstrating consistent patience, thoughtfulness, professionalism, and responsibility. This made me feel very warm and secure.

The hotel has a pool, and it's not crowded, which is very convenient. The facilities are quite new, and the hygiene is acceptable. The environment is also satisfactory. It's suitable for business travel. The room has a bathtub, but they don't provide disposable bath liners. I tried to extend my check-out time a bit, and while the front desk wasn't as accommodating as some other hotels, overall it was okay. It's a bit dry this season, and I'm feeling a bit under the weather. The soundproofing is so-so, but I was still pretty happy with my stay. Overall, a good review.

Attending an exhibition in Shanghai, the hotel was not far from the venue, a taxi ride taking less than 10 minutes. The room was clean and tidy, and the hygiene conditions were excellent. The staff were very welcoming.

Extremely close to Xinchang Ancient Town, just a short walk away. The stay was comfortable, and the bedding was soft. It's convenient for dining and sightseeing around the area. I arrived very late for my check-in, and I have to give a special shout-out to Manager Zong at the front desk! She was incredibly efficient even late at night, handling everything with a gentle and polite demeanor. She patiently explained breakfast times and hotel amenities, and even when I had questions later in the night, she answered them thoroughly. Her service was truly professional, making me feel completely at ease despite the late hour. Overall, it was a perfect experience, definitely deserving of a five-star rating!
