"The hotel is certainly up to the standard and conveniently located right by the cruise tour for whale watching. Price I paid is on par with the service received. Nothing to critique about the buffet and they are cooked to order. What I really like the most is their lounge with many drinks and snacks options available and I am quite surprised in a good way about that. Only thing I would suggest is, for those who want more privacy in the bath, book yourself a room with private onsen as the open air public bath is rather small and can be filled up very quickly. Having an onsen in the room can resolve this issue completely. The seafood don in the breakfast is very good and nothing to complaint. I would certainly come back next time in the winter."

"The triple room was incredibly spacious! The sunset view from the lobby was absolutely stunning!!! This hotel is a hostel, so there's no full-service, but the rooms are just like a regular hotel. They don't clean daily but do provide fresh towels. The hot spring is small but new, and we almost always had it to ourselves, which was fantastic. Key point!!! All buffet meals are served at Kiki Restaurant, just a 100-meter walk away. The five-star buffet at Kiki combined with the price of staying here is an absolute steal! The rooms here are even bigger. This time, I did my research online and found out they'd changed their dining to Kiki, so I promptly booked it. It didn't disappoint; my whole family was very satisfied."

"The hotel is quite large, and the rooms are spacious too. Transportation in Shiretoko isn't very convenient; if you miss the airport shuttle, you either have to transfer multiple times or take a taxi. A taxi from Memanbetsu Airport to the hotel cost 1222 yuan for 87 kilometers. The hotel is on a hill, and all the restaurants are downhill. It takes about 20 minutes to walk down, and climbing back up is quite tiring. Many restaurants have specific opening hours; when we arrived around 5 PM that day, most were already closed. The hotel has a hot spring bath and a swimming pool. Breakfast was just okay, but the dinner buffet offered a good variety of choices, and the ingredients were fresh. There's a shuttle bus that picks you up at the hotel entrance at 9:35 AM for Memanbetsu Airport, so be sure to wait there early."
