"A charming fort in a beautiful region. In the heart of a small, authentic town, with magnificent 360° views of the surrounding area, Castel Khandela was our first love of the trip. An old palace, half-decrepit and half-maintained, with genuine charm. The welcome is warm, with flower garlands, a welcome drink, and smiles. You feel genuinely welcomed. It's not just business. The guest areas are in good condition, and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Spacious and clean, they offer a sitting area, a desk, a wardrobe, a dressing table, and a luggage rack. Air conditioning and a fan are provided. Two bottles of water, a kettle, tea, and coffee are available. The linens are clean. The bathroom is adequate and functional, with no trace of mold. Complimentary toiletries are provided. The furniture is antique but in good condition. The decor is understated. The garden is pleasant, with a bit of sunshine. Dinner, featuring a variety of local dishes that aren't too spicy, and a hearty breakfast are served in the upstairs restaurant. Thank you to Vinod for his warm welcome and attentiveness, thank you to Bharat for his delicious food, and thank you Ranjeet for taking such good care of us. The view of the city from the palace rooftop was stunning. This is one of the few hotels we've stayed in where the porters don't just stand around waiting in the room for a tip. There are many things to see in the surrounding area: the small shopping streets around the fort, the Lohargal Valley with its Baori and temples, the striking Surya Temple (Temple of the Sun) and its many pilgrims, the Shakambhari Mata Mandir temple, and the Muni Ashram. The nearby villages offer a wealth of authentic experiences."

"Went wit my wife to visit Salasar Balaji. The property is very close to the temple. Resort is well constructed and has spacious rooms. But the service is pathetic. We reached the resort and had parked our vehicle where the desk manager could see us, yet had to honk for 10 minutes before anyone came to take our luggage. After checking in, we asked for extra pillow which did not arrive. The breakfast was so bad that we both decided not to have it and then had it from outside. The property is well developed, will be an outstanding one if the management works on the service front."
