"I definitely don't recommend staying at the Baltica Residence (BR) or Villa Baltica (VB). I've stayed at the BR several times in the past and found it to be a solid budget option. Unfortunately, these days, they should be avoided. I booked a Deluxe Room. Upon check-in, I asked if the room I was assigned matched my reservation. The receptionist confirmed it. Upon arrival, I found the room significantly smaller than advertised and lacked the additional two-seater sofa and table, which are standard amenities in this room category (I always chose a Deluxe Room at BR). Furthermore, the room was very dirty, and the bathroom radiator hadn't been wiped down in at least six months. After reporting the issue to the VB reception, I was informed that they were "slightly overbooked" and could offer me another room, even a higher category, at the Villa Baltica, a different hotel than the one I booked. I asked to speak to a manager, but the manager couldn't explain the situation. What's more, she tried to convince me that the lower-class room was essentially a Deluxe Room, minus the sofa. This was absurd. The front desk staff was rude and dishonest, which further worsened my stay. I ended up staying in a substandard Villa Baltica apartment. I strongly recommend against this hotel."

"A very friendly and warm welcome from the My Story team. Plenty of parking if required. The room was spacious enough to accommodate two very large suitcases plus bags, plenty of storage was available too. Breakfast was plentiful at 70 Zloty per person (£12), this is a typical Polish food. Coffee was free all day and even free cake in the afternoon, it’s these little touches and thoughts that make a holiday better. The hotel is situated just on the fringes of the Main Street Monte Casino about a 5 minute walk but only across the road from the stunning long white sandy beach. They can even supply proper longer chairs and sunshades at no extra cost. My Story get 10/10 for just a huge and complete delightful holiday stay ….. Thank you from Malgorzata & Kenny"

"This hotel is wonderfully decorated and has a green ethos with free electric cars/bikes. The spa is great. Staff were super helpful. I block back from the beach with really lovely beachside cafes. Sopot is compact and was not too busy in May. I hear it gets really busy though. Would definitely return."

"We stayed at the hotel for three days and two nights and found it to be of a very high standard. Perhaps not five stars, but a well-deserved four. The service was friendly. The food was quite decent, and in this case, four stars, not five, as it could have been better. The rooms were of a good standard, clean and tidy. The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few meters from the Moa River and close to the pier. My only complaint is that at this price, parking should be included in the cost of the stay, especially since there are many spaces that are simply empty, costing 90 PLN per day, and free on weekends outside the gate."
