"Simple, but clean hotel; Abundant and varied breakfast, with a wide choice of sweet and savory options. Excellent location for visiting Siena and the Val d'Orcia with its fantastic villages. Unfortunately the restaurant on the ground floor was closed for the holidays, so I can't comment on it, even though it looks very good."

"Fantastic place good location very nice People:D we enjoyed vievs and the smalest city ever with medival touch! Fantastic!!! See the monastery if you wold have a change. The localcats are adorable. Go there :)"

Casa di Campagna in Toscana

"This property is in the countryside not far from Siena, perhaps a 25 minute drive. It's remote, rustic, and provides an opportunity to relax in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Room was clean and our bed comfortable. Bathroom was well equipped (included a bidet). Breakfast was fantastic and featured a selection of meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, yogurt, boiled eggs, and pastries galore. We had dinner on a Sunday evening and it was equally delectable. Be sure to make a reservation (for dinner) or be prepared to wait or go elsewhere. It's important to note the restaurant isn't open for dinner on Mondays and alternatives are very scant other than in Siena. Emanuel was of particular help when mapping out places of interest to visit in the general area. The entire staff in the BnB and restaurant were excellent. I would stay here again."

Residence Borgo San Lorenzo a Linari

"I agree all smoke and no fire. Very nice structure but they get lost in the services. We had the large room which is always shown in the photos. Nice but: some of the windows have no shutters or curtains so there is no way to block out the light from outside. The room was cold and we were told it was not possible to heat it. Luckily there were extra blankets available. The bathroom has a hot water tank which is not enough for 4 people. There is no hotel service so the rooms are not cleaned. I've traveled around Tuscany a lot. At that price I expected very different things."

The view and location were magical, the staff was so kind and lovely, the food was amazing and the wifi connection had a good speed. Overall, this place is an amazing place to stay if you want to visit the beautiful places in Tuscany and also relax and enjoy some peace."

"We had been staying at location inside the walls of Lucca for a few weeks and needed a 2 night escape. We booked with Residence Arianna so we would be close to Volterra and Siena for some day visiting. Caterina & Fabio have this wonderful, clean and semi modern building about 1/2 way in-between the places we wanted to visit. The apartment we got was on the top floor (unit 10). There is a lift for easy access. The apt itself is great for a few nights. Is very roomy, although the shower is a bit cramped. The kitchen is pretty good, but could use a few extra pans etc. When we asked for a coffee maker, Caterina not only brought us one but also some pretty good coffee. They put on a decent breakfast and there is an onsite restaurant open at dinner time run by Their daughter Arianna and serves up pretty good pasta which we tried one of the nights we were there. And the big bonus is there is a nice large lap pool which we used both days we were there in the hot afternoons - great way to cool off. Highly recommended for creature comforts and location."

"Beautiful and friendly place! Location is near many Tuscany highlights, the pool is amazing, we loved the ‘garden room’ to dine outside with veggies and fruit from the garden, and the service was outstanding, every request we had was fulfilled within minutes. On top of that the beds are very comfortable and the apartment very clean. Go here, you won’t regret it."
