"Asked for the quiet room. Got the room18 up the end of the corridor and also next to the road and also next to the emergency exit. Wasn't that quiet but was ok. Room, toilets amd kitchen was very clean and new. Good place to stay but just look at the room you pick"

"Price: Around 200 AUD per night, including breakfast. Facilities: Quite new, with smart features similar to other Australian hotels. The amenities match the price point. There's a free sauna, a gym (with a squat rack, dumbbells, kettlebells, various cardio equipment, and showers), and a swimming pool (water quality was good, but I didn't go in). Cleanliness: Excellent, the bedding was also very clean. Location: Close to Central Station, and the surrounding area feels very safe. Service: Breakfast, which would normally cost over 30 AUD, is a buffet with everything you'd expect. You can also order eggs à la carte (regular ones are free, special ones cost a few extra AUD), which is a great deal. The amenity delivery and room service were also good."

"The hotel's location is convenient, and parking is available, but it costs 30 per day. The room was clean and tidy, not luxurious, but it had a balcony and all the facilities were in good working order. The front desk service was warm and attentive, though the price was a bit high."

"The Ridges is close to the city and the valley and surrounded by public transport. It's a little dated but for the price it has everything you need. Beds were comfortable, shower nice and warm and pool area nice. Would definitely stay again for the price."

"The room was great, clean, service excellent, they let is check in early (2 hours) and check out late (1 hour) at no extra cost. Love the layout of the room, very well thought out and balcony view was amazing."

"The room was fairly clean and tidy, just a bit small. The location was quite convenient though, with Fortitude Valley just a 300-meter walk away. The next stop is Central Station, which is great for getting to the Gold Coast for only 50 cents, or even the airport. However, the train to the airport is very expensive at AUD 23 per person, which is more than a taxi."

"Super friendly and accommodating service. We had to book lat minute, all details were sent through promptly. The apartment had everything you could need and a number to call if any issues. Loved there was a tv in the main bedroom of our 2brm apt. Will book again."

It dawned on me, what really sets a hotel above others, & I have concluded . . . genuine hospitality (with a special mention to Brody) whom epitomises genuine hospitality. After a long night of travel arriving late (due to unforeseen circumstances), Brody was so lovely. She felt more like an old friend than staff. She went above & beyond to meet our needs & sets this beautifully designed & artfully styled hotel apart from the others. The hotel offers beautiful all day little snacks such as freshly baked cookies, muffins, shortbread, and much more. ☺️"

"Good location Great amenities - free breakfast which was great and items were kept well stocked, music, pool, lounge area / terrace Showers could do with a bit of updating and bath mats would be helpful There were no hooks to hang anything from in our room which was really inconvenient"

"Pros: Excellent location, very friendly staff, and all the necessary amenities in the room. Cons: The room is not well shaded so it is very bright in the morning, there are few parking spaces and they are far from the entrance, and I don't understand why there is a staircase at the back but it cannot be used."
