4-Star Hotels in Dalian

I booked a special offer room, and the design is really well thought out. It's compact but doesn't feel cramped or stuffy. I specifically checked the amenities and facilities, and they're the same as those in the other sea-view rooms, which shows the owner really invested in the place. My favorite part is the balcony – with all the flowers in bloom and the sea view, it's absolutely gorgeous! Just a side note, sitting there with a cup of coffee at night, enjoying the light show on the cross-sea bridge, is incredibly relaxing. The owner is a bit too modest; the actual stay was much better than what the pictures suggested.

Cant complain. This hotel is just worth the price with the kind of cleanliness, service, comfortability, aesthetics and location. It is near Xinghai Square where we watched the light show at the bridge. Just beautiful! I would love to stay here much longer if I were to visit Dalian again. Free laundry by the way and I did not have to pay for extra coffee which was actually really good too. We were also allowed to check out later. The staff were particularly pleasing! Eventhough their English is limited they tried their best to provide whats needed. Excellent place! I felt so at home but at the same time it didn’t even feel like you’re in China. Superb considering I booked the cheapest room for three adults.

The itinerary perfectly balanced attractions both near and far, came with a list of affordable and authentic local eateries, and even included thoughtful reminders about the weather and parking spots. My friends and I stayed at the Dalian Qingqiu Hotel during our trip, and the overall experience was excellent, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. The hotel boasts a new Chinese design style, with elegant and refined layouts that exude a rich classical charm. The public areas are thoughtfully decorated, featuring pavilions and staggered scenic views that create a strong atmospheric ambiance. The aesthetic design is consistent throughout the entire space, giving it a unified and unique character. The lobby has a scenic fish pond with koi swimming freely, adding a lively and elegant touch. Feeding the fish is interactive and adds a lot of vitality to the environment, making a stroll through the area very pleasant. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, with a well-designed layout and simple yet stylish interiors. The amenities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and the rooms are quiet, ensuring a very relaxing stay. The hotel offers free traditional Chinese costumes for guests to try on and take photos, which is a lot of fun. The location is a major highlight, as it's excellent and close to Xinghai Square, making travel very convenient. Nearby attractions and dining spots are concentrated, saving time and effort for sightseeing and business trips. The hotel breakfast is simple but delicious, featuring a refreshing Chinese set meal. The minced pork noodles, seaweed soup, and side dishes are just right, and there are also sweet steamed cakes, egg custard, and cherry tomatoes. Overall, this hotel combines beauty, comfort, and practicality. The design, environment, service, and location are all commendable, offering a fantastic experience and great value for money. It's an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Dalian and highly recommended.

I came to Dalian this time for a football match. I hadn't stayed at this hotel before, but after this visit, it completely exceeded my expectations! First off, the location is on par with hotels like Orange and Atour, but the price is competitive and the service is just as good, if not better! Secondly, the hygiene is excellent, and the cleaning staff are very polite and helpful. The front desk staff were patient and well-mannered, even reminding me that the mini-fridge drinks were complimentary. Although I didn't drink any, it shows their attention to detail and service awareness! My comment about it exceeding expectations isn't just talk; usually, you get what you pay for, but this place offers a service experience that goes beyond its price point.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's very convenient to take the subway or a taxi to Donggang and Shicao Beach, and you can also walk to Zhongshan Square and Dalian Art Museum from the hotel. The front desk kindly upgraded my room for free. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Considering the peak summer season, this hotel offers great value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Dalian.

The hotel's bay is absolutely stunning and very private. You can tell the owner has an eye for aesthetics; even though the hotel is small, every corner is picturesque, and the observation deck on the slope is breathtaking. When the weather is good, the bay turns into a beautiful 'jelly sea,' making it well worth staying to experience this beach. On the downside: It feels like the hotel's cleaning and breakfast services are outsourced to women from Northeast China. The cleanliness is frankly mediocre, so I wouldn't recommend it for germaphobes. As for breakfast, I didn't eat the food, so I can't comment on that; I only had coffee. However, the restaurant service is problematic. In the mornings, the kitchen staff were loudly gossiping in Northeastern dialect with the waitresses, openly commenting on previous guests, which was very impolite. The service lacked smiles, and their gazes were somewhat stern. While eating breakfast, they would stare at you, completely lacking personal boundaries. When my mother went to get food, an older lady kept following her and staring, making her feel very uncomfortable. There were some pastries in a steamer, and when my mother opened it to see what they were, a waitress sarered, 'These are yellow croaker dumplings, can you even eat them?!' On a positive note, the front desk staff, the bar guy, the convenience store auntie, and the paddleboard instructor were all very nice and friendly. I hope the restaurant service quality improves, and that staff receive etiquette and professionalism training, as well as addressing the cleanliness issues. Thank you.

Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded us to a suite, which was very comfortable. Dalian is lovely and cool this time of year, and we could open the windows in the living area directly, keeping the room cool without needing AC. While the overall facilities in the room are a bit dated, you can tell it was once a four-star standard, and it was clean with no strange smells. It was also quite soundproof. The bathroom deserves a special mention for being very spacious – much better than many other hotels. The hotel's location is excellent, with a supermarket nearby for convenient shopping, and taxis can get you anywhere quickly. The elevators are fast. My only wish is for a wider variety at breakfast.

Was perfect for an overnight stay for a very early flight. Hotel 5 minutes walk from airport with Wanda Mall about 20 mins away on foot. Especially worth it due to snow overnight too. Reasonable price point too.
