1. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of action. There was a street food next door, with McD, Pizza Hut and KFC all within 05 mins of walking. There was a mall with a Walmart hypermarket at the underground level nearby. It is convenient for those who stayed more than a few nights and needed to provision for work in Dalian.
2. There is a university nearby, plus a hill overlooking the Dalian city which you can conveniently walk/jog up to in the morning/evening.
3, The room is sufficiently well spaced, the bed and pillows are comfy, the lights are decently illuminant, the shower water pressure strong and the temperature hot when you need it ; the room is well decorated, there is enough work space on the table, there is a fridge ; the basin, the toilet bowl, and the shower room are independent of each other. In other words, a well thought out room layout. The lighting control is well calibrated, the central air conditioning is quiet, there is a special pop-out plug points on the table for laptops and phone charging.
4. The breakfast is good, a bit of every kind, mainly Chinese dish but some Western oriented salad style vege/fruits for those who need it. Milk is available (not something to be taken for granted in China as milk is not commonly available)
5. There is a free laundry room for use, the detergent and softener are provided free-of-charge ; iron and iron board is available as well.
6. The hotel service is tightly run by its Manager who ensure the staff are always tending as soon as possible to the customers. A special thanks to reception staff 孙晓辉 for patiently helping out with China-specific app for about 30 mins.

TTokkiiiWe stayed at Atour Hotel Dalian Dongguan Street (大连市政府东关街亚朵酒店) during our first trip to mainland China, and honestly, this place was one of the highlights of our whole visit.
Right at check-in we were kindly upgraded to a suite, and the staff asked if we could leave a review — after staying here, that was an easy and enthusiastic yes.
Where do I even start?
The room was immaculately clean, super quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was impressive with strong water pressure and top-notch amenities — everything felt fresh and high quality. We had zero issues with housekeeping — everything was always perfect.
The staff were some of the friendliest we’ve met in China. Their English wasn’t perfect, but they tried so hard to help with whatever we needed, always with a smile and patience. That honest effort made a big difference.
Location is another major plus. This hotel is right by Dongguan Street, which means you’re walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Pavilion Mall is super close too, and the airport is easy to get to — really convenient for arrivals and departures.
One small thing — the subway station is a bit of a walk, but the tram stop is very close, so getting around was still easy.
We didn’t try the breakfast since it wasn’t included, but honestly, everything else was so good that we really don’t even care.
To all travelers — especially Korean and Western visitors who might skip Dalian thinking it’s “not worth it” or don’t see many foreigners here — do yourself a favor and stay here.
This was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere.
If we come back to Dalian, we will 100% stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

GGoodgirlgoto heavenWe wanted to check in early because we had an event in the afternoon and needed to get ready. The front desk lady was super helpful and upgraded our room for us.
The room itself was incredibly spacious, bright, and comfortable. I even noticed the kettle was a retro green (forgot to snap a pic!). When we got back in the evening, there was a complimentary fruit plate waiting for us – such a thoughtful touch.
Being a sea-view room, it looked right out onto Xinghai Square. Sitting by the window, sipping tea, and enjoying that beautiful view was simply blissful.

I recently stayed at the A-Tour Railway Station Hotel in Dalian and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to the railway station and within easy reach of public transport, making it very convenient for travelers.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, which was a big plus. However, I noticed that breakfast options were quite limited and not very varied. Additionally, the dining area often felt crowded, making it difficult to find a free seat during peak hours.
One thing to clarify—Trip.com mentions in-room washing machines, but this is not accurate. The hotel does have a shared laundry room with washing machines, which is useful, though it can get busy in the evenings. This seems more like an issue with Trip.com’s description rather than the hotel itself.
The staff were friendly and helpful, which definitely improved the experience.

I stayed for three consecutive days, and every morning after I left, the cleaning staff tidied up the room and replenished the mineral water. I slept soundly and went out to explore again the next day. For a solo traveler, the value for money is absolutely unbeatable.

BBruce KWe really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was quaint with a very comfortable bed. Front desk were very accommodating, spoke some English to my benefit and helped us with everything. Housekeeping was considerate and cleaned room daily. Had breakfast daily and they offered a nice variety of food. It was enough to satisfy for the morning. We even left for a short trip to Shanghai and returned to the same hotel for a few more days. Staff held our excess luggage until we returned which was awesome. Some nice authentic restaurants nearby made it all a great experience. Thank you.

MM292377****This is a fantastic beachfront resort, you definitely won't regret coming here.
**Facilities:** The temperature was perfect, making for an incredibly comfortable stay. The room had a large soaking tub, and there was another one on the balcony – I can only imagine how relaxing and refreshing it would be to soak there while looking at the sea in summer. The toilet was smart, and all the toiletries were comprehensive and from well-known brands, even the toothpaste was Ora.
**Cleanliness:** It was very clean, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was excellent.
**Environment:** A super sea-view room, the environment speaks for itself. At night, you can lie in bed and enjoy the sea view and stargaze. In the morning, you wake up to the sunrise over the ocean 🌅, which is incredibly romantic. The beachfront environment is also exceptionally good, especially in winter with beautiful Christmas trees that light up at night, creating a wonderful atmosphere for taking memorable photos.
**Service:** There's a one-on-one dedicated butler service. They meticulously answer all your questions and have a superb service attitude.
**Soft Drinks & Snacks:** The room provides snacks and bottled water, and the breakfast selection is very rich. A special shout-out to the tea-marinated eggs (cháyè dàn) – they were so delicious, the best I've ever had!
I definitely want to come back again in the summer!

GGuest UserThis hotel is located near Dalian Zhongshan Square, offering easy access to the city center. A large hospital is right next door, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are a good size and include a refrigerator. Bottled water is replenished daily, and a welcome snack is provided. However, there are a few shortcomings in terms of facilities. The soundproofing is somewhat weak, and the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. The bathrooms also had no doors, so people could be seen using the toilet or showering. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help with any questions I had about restaurants or information about the area. I lost my card key, but the staff was very helpful and took care of it. They also provided luggage storage after checkout. This hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Dalian.
