AAnonymous UserI was quite satisfied with my stay this time. In terms of facilities, the charging ports in the room were conveniently located, and the bedside lamp had just the right brightness. The hygiene was impeccable; the bedding was clean and odorless, and the bathroom counters and floors were spotless. The service was very attentive; the front desk staff proactively informed us about the hotel's services, and the cleaning staff were very thorough during their rounds without disturbing our rest.

MM223682****Stayed here for a business trip, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was quiet, perfect for working, and the Wi-Fi was incredibly fast. Breakfast was well-balanced, leaving me energized for meetings. It's also close to my workplace, which saved a lot of hassle!
This is my top choice for business travel! The service is professional and efficient; check-in and check-out were a breeze with no waiting. The desk and chair in the room were very comfortable, and they even offered free printing services – the attention to detail is truly excellent, highly recommended! I didn't have time to check out because of a meeting, and the front desk thoughtfully extended my stay. When I returned, they kindly informed me that my room card wasn't working, saving me another trip back. The small touches are really great, and the price point is perfect. I hope to visit Dalian again for business or leisure. Thank you!

I recently stayed at the A-Tour Railway Station Hotel in Dalian and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to the railway station and within easy reach of public transport, making it very convenient for travelers.
The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, which was a big plus. However, I noticed that breakfast options were quite limited and not very varied. Additionally, the dining area often felt crowded, making it difficult to find a free seat during peak hours.
One thing to clarify—Trip.com mentions in-room washing machines, but this is not accurate. The hotel does have a shared laundry room with washing machines, which is useful, though it can get busy in the evenings. This seems more like an issue with Trip.com’s description rather than the hotel itself.
The staff were friendly and helpful, which definitely improved the experience.

I couldn't operate the T.V remote.
The air-conditioning only blows hot air.
And there's no stores nearby. (Only a KFC and Chinese fresh food market 5 minutes walk away)

The room lighting was nice.
And thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.
They put power outlets beside the bed, and provided static charging pads for your phone.
I've never seen this before, even in 5 star hotels.
It was so convenient to actually be able to plug my computer in, and not have to carry power boards and USB cables for phone charging.
Great idea, and very convenient.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay.
No real complaints.
Oh, and not a bad breakfast.
Well done to the cooks for trying to provide Western food along with the standard Chinese breakfast.

RRares MThe hotel was excellent. The location is very accessible and well placed, close to subway connections, and Zhongshan Square. The room we initially got had a faulty remote controlled blinds system that was moving by itself. Once we raised the issue, we got moved to a different room by the staff who was very courteous, and provided us with a bowl of fruit as well, and sent one of the hotel staff to help us move our luggage. The other room was excellent with no real downsides, comfortable bed, and nice and good room ambience. The breakfast was very thorough with both local and foreign options. I opted for mainly local options since I like to immerse myself in local cuisine when travelling. It was delicious. The staff were also able to hold our luggage until the evening after checkout until we came back to take it. A very good experience, highly recommended.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this excellent hotel for three nights during our first visit to Dalian in May. The room was very clean and had some very useful amenities such as a refrigerator, clothes washer and a bidet toilet. It was very convenient to wash our clothes and save money.
The staff was very helpful and kind. Mr. Chen helped me find an excellent Thai massage spa (Tai Baba) nearby and helped us get taxis. We are especially grateful to the manager Mr. Leon. He left his busy post at the front desk and walked with me several blocks to get medicine for my wife who was briefly ill.
We opted for the Chinese breakfast all three days and it was very good. However, the western food selection was limited. That was not a problem for us because the Chinese food was delicious. We are from the USA.
Mr. Leon recommended an excellent Japanese restaurant (Konoha or Jiuye) with a huge menu selection in the same building. We ate there twice and there was a waitress who spoke fluent Japanese. There are many Japanese restaurants in close walking distance to the hotel. Also, the hotel is located near a shopping mall with a huge food court on the top floor. We recommend Chinese and foreigners to stay at the Shan Shui S Hotel when visiting Dalian. It made our trip to the beautiful, friendly city of Dalian memorable.

TTurGerThe staff was helpful and nice, always happy to help with small requests. The communication was easy via Wechat. The breakfast buffet is a bit small and limited. The location was convenient, the beach in front of the hotel is nice. There are cafes and family-friendly attractions nearby like the Ocean Park, and the hotel felt safe and welcoming for kids. The room was clean. The overview from the balcony towards the bay is great. The hotel restaurant for dinner was very good.
