Days Inn by Wyndham Stephenville

"As there are not many hotel choices in Stephenville, this hotel was a nice surprise since they don’t have much competition. It was as expected from the Days Inn chain, nice big room and clean and the aircon worked smoothly. The only issue was that the water pressure was quite low and the hot water took forever to come. The price point is quite high for this type of hotel but as I stated before, there are not many options and there is no competition. Also breakfast was not included in the price. I would stay at this hotel again but not at this price point"

"For the money, there should be a lot more. The front desk check in was friendly but not informative at all. It was just take your key and off you go. I had to go back 3 times to get more information about wifi PW etc. For a lodge next to the hill, there is little to do. They should be providing opportunities to rent a bike or go for more than a 10min hike to a waterfall. Pretty and all, but virtually nothing to do there. So don't expect it. There was a water boiling advisory and I asked about water and the front desk said there was water bottles in the room, but there wasn't, so I had to go back to the fron desk and bring them back myself. Kinda annoying."

"I stayed in the residence complex and I got what I paid for. The building was extremely hot and stuffy at 6:30 pm when I arrived. There was no air conditioning and to make matters worse the windows can only open approximately 6 inches so I could not get any airflow. I had issues with the keys trying to get into the building and I almost had to go get security. The cylinders for the locks are loose or something. I can't believe they have students staying in this hole. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else."
