QiwoniujiaohuaThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to attractions like Pingjiang Road, Shantang Street, and Hanshan Temple. They even gave us two complimentary tickets to Hanshan Temple. The surrounding area is convenient with plenty of amenities. The two beds were very large, 1.4 meters wide, which was great for families with kids. Breakfast was fantastic, and they managed the crowd well so it never felt crowded, making for a pleasant dining experience. Since we were traveling with two children, I called the front desk to see if we could get an extra breakfast, and they happily provided one for free. A big shout-out to the hotel for being so accommodating and thoughtful! The pool was a huge hit with the kids, and there's also a toddlers' play area. Overall, with its comprehensive services and management, I highly recommend this hotel for a family trip.

TianxinbaobeizhuTaking advantage of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I brought my parents to Zhangjiagang. We booked the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel this time. It's located in the heart of Zhangjiagang, making transportation very convenient. Right next to it are the Poly Grand Theatre and Wanda Plaza, so shopping and entertainment are easily accessible. It's also a short drive to several classic scenic spots.
We booked an Executive King Room, which was on the 36th floor, the same floor as the executive lounge, so dining was super convenient. Upon entering the room, you find the spacious bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower area. A sliding door next to the bathtub can be closed to separate it from the bedroom – truly excellent attention to detail. In the center of the room was a king-sized bed, and by the window, there was a chaise lounge and a small desk. Lying on the chaise lounge, you could enjoy panoramic city views from the large floor-to-ceiling window.
The executive room package included afternoon tea and dinner. The 'Happy Hour' from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM offered a rich variety of dishes and plenty of drinks. There were three pre-made cocktails daily, but I still preferred the Gin & Tonic. For breakfast, the shepherd's purse and pork wontons were incredibly fragrant and delicious – highly recommended. The service here is very warm and welcoming; staff always greeted us enthusiastically in the hallways. Usually, after dinner, we'd take a walk outside, and by the time we returned to the hotel, the turndown service had already been done, making us feel truly at home.

MoerrangaochanggongFacilities: As a family traveling from Shanghai primarily for a vacation, we specifically filtered for 5-star hotels opened within the last two years that were also resorts, which led us straight to Marriott. Marriott's reputation is consistently excellent, and this hotel was no exception. The facilities and equipment are very new, especially the pool. It looks brand new, not just in age, but also in its design concept. As you can see from the photos, the blue sky, white clouds, green lawn, light blue lake, and black glass supports reflect beautifully on the pool's surface – a photographer's dream composition.
Cleanliness: Very clean. You can walk barefoot on the carpet without a second thought, and there are no unpleasant odors.
Service: The gym had bottled water and blankets next to every cardio machine. We had a lot of luggage, and the lobby staff went above and beyond, helping us arrange everything and even proactively bringing a cart to assist with loading and unloading. Definitely a big thumbs up!
Environment: The hotel is located in the Yangcheng Lake scenic area. For our weekend trip, we parked our car and left it there, spending both days entirely at the hotel. During a light summer rain, our family enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the lake embankment – it was perfectly pleasant. Parking and EV charging were also very convenient.
Restaurant: With its new design concept, this hotel is truly suitable for families with children. For breakfast, there were three cabinets filled with bread, cakes, and ice cream, all of excellent quality. Our child ate 6 waffles! As for the adults, we enjoyed Suzhou-style noodles. There was also an abundance of coffee machines. The overall dining service was excellent, with good guidance and quick table clearing. Even on a busy weekend with many people, the dining experience didn't feel crowded, which was fantastic.
Saturday Kids' Lawn Water Battle (50 Crab Coins): We let the kids play freely. The staff proactively provided various water toys and even helped rinse off the bubbles.
Highly recommended; we'll definitely return for our next vacation.
