Muong Hoa Eco Villa

Muong Hoa Eco Villa ★★★

📍 Muong Hoa, Ta Van

"Amazing place! The views on the way to the hotel were absolutely stunning, it was breathtaking! The hotel itself is located on a hill, a bit further from the center of Sapa, but that didn't bother us at all. We rented a motorbike and got around easily. It's quiet and peaceful at the hotel, and the staff are simply beyond excellent 🫶🏼. The scenery unfolding before your eyes is incredible! I would definitely come back 🤍"

Sa Pa EC homestay ★★★

📍 Thon, Day 1, Ta Van

"One of the most memorable times of our live and we were happy with everything! The view from the room is breathtaking, we stayed in the spacious 6 beds room and it was on the second floor. From there you can see the moutains, valleys, a waterfall and a river. Every morning there would be swallows flying around the house, and butterflies too, all different colours! It was extremely peaceful, exactly what my family needed to experience. The location is very close to the river on one side, and on the other side with a short walk up a slope there are plenty of cafes, shops and resturants! The host family would also cook delicious meals for us if when we stayed in for an additional 3-4 dollars, which was so convienent and totally worth it. Our host family were always very helpful to us, and they really cared about doing good in their community. They also took us when they had free time around Sapa and their local village. When we ran out of nappies they took us to a shop that stocked them and when our daughter wanted to see water buffalos they took us to look for them too! We had a wonderful time with them, and all their pets. Our children played with them everyday and was so sad when they had to leave. Hopefully we will get a chance to return in the future! All the best to Phong and his sweet family!"

Moc Home Sapa ★★★

📍 Moc Home Sapa, Thao Hong Den Village, Muong Hoa Commune, Ta Van

"It's located even further into Sapa, and getting there is a bit of a challenge, but for someone like me who loves the countryside, it was the perfect place. The common space on the second floor is spacious, and you can even do morning yoga there 🧘🏻♀️☀️ The whole place is very clean, and I felt very safe and comfortable there 💗 And best of all, the hostel's idol, Pencil 🐶, is so friendly and adorable... When I went out to the cafe, he followed me like a bodyguard, and I was so sad to say goodbye 🥲💕 It's a really great place to stay. I recommend it!"

La Beauté Sa Pa
9.7 (512 reviews)

La Beauté Sa Pa ★★

📍 Ta Van, Ta Van

"I stayed at La Beauté Sapa for three nights, and honestly, it was exactly what I was hoping for – calm, authentic, and full of character. The location is just outside of Sapa town, in a quiet village surrounded by rice terraces. Waking up to the sound of birds and distant farm animals, with mist rolling over the mountains – unforgettable. The homestay itself is simple but very tasteful. Think cozy wooden interiors, handmade decor, and a small balcony with a stunning view. It’s not a hotel – and that’s the charm. You really feel like you’re in someone’s home. The best part? The host family. So welcoming, always smiling, always offering tea. They even taught us how to cook a local dish one evening – probably one of the best meals I had in Vietnam! Great Wi-Fi, hot shower, and they helped us book a motorbike and gave us tips for hiking routes that weren’t crowded with tourists. Would I recommend it? Absolutely – especially for travelers who want something more authentic and quiet, away from the noise of Sapa town. What to know before you go:    •   Bring good walking shoes – the village paths can get muddy.    •   There’s no TV – but trust me, you won’t miss it.    •   Try the local herbal foot they offer – very relaxing after a hike! Not luxury, but truly special."

"The room was clean and the staff was a helpful little boy. The AC in room was broken so he offered to change the room for me. The view from the window was peaceful, feeling immersed in the life of the village. In the morning I was lucky enough to see a rainbow from the window. And don’t forget to play with the cat in the homestay, he usually sleeps under the chair in breakfast rooom."

Muong Hoa River View Homestay Hotels in Ta Van

Muong Hoa River View Homestay

"1. It was so cold. There was an air conditioner, but it was too small for the size of the room, and no matter how much I turned up the temperature, it only blew cold air. It looked incredibly old. 2. The shower was broken, so I asked them to fix it, but they didn't respond. They fixed it on the third day. 3. The breakfast was terrible. You had to choose between banana pancakes and rice noodles. They didn't even give you hot water, and the pancakes were terrible in this cold restaurant in the winter. It wasn't the soft dough we know, but it was stiff bread that seemed to be made with cornmeal. The rice noodles were lukewarm, even the store-bought ones. They came out in 20 minutes. ㅠ I gave up on breakfast for two days. 4. I don't know about summer, but I really don't recommend it in winter when there's no view at all. It's far from the city center, so taxis are expensive. ㅠ"

"Hieu and his wife were incredibly welcoming. He suggested lots of hiking routes and made it easy for us to get to Fasipan. He's incredibly resourceful and goes above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and help us discover his beautiful region. We all had dinner together and it was delicious. The whole family agrees we loved our stay! I highly recommend it!"

Dinh Sapa Trekking & Homestay Hotels in Ta Van

Dinh Sapa Trekking & Homestay

"Please don't book via Trip - the host totally missed my booking! Nonetheless, she roomed me another homestay, and was able to accommodate my request for trekking as well. If you're planning to Grab there, do note that the location might be wrong - suggest to get in touch directly with Dinh. I loved the trekking. There are 2 options, the rice paddy one and the bamboo forest one. I did the rice paddy one and it was very enjoyable. Culturally immersive, educational, and you get a good workout all at once!"

Luckydaisy Buffalo House Hotels in Ta Van

"Lucky Daisy is also known as Happy Daisy. The staff are very friendly. They truly focus on you as a guest and are very helpful. You really get a "home from home" feeling. We stayed in a private room on the mountain, and our suitcases were brought up by scooter. When we arrived a bit late for dinner, they even called us to ask where we were staying. How sweet is that?"

Sin Chai Ecolodge Hotels in Ta Van

Sin Chai Ecolodge

"Brilliant location outside the crazy town of Sa Pa itself. Stunning views and walks through rice fields on your doorstep. The staff wants to make you at home and they succeeded in that! Their environmental approach is genuine and shows in all aspects they do. Sin Chai Ecologde is great place to go. After visiting Sa Pa town for one evening, we were soooo glaaad that we didn't stay there in the centre. In comparison it is expensive and very (Vietnamese) touristy, which wasn't our taste."

Miku Chill House Hotels in Ta Van

Miku Chill House

"I am a world traveler, practicing meditation on the road; I am grateful to have stayed in a village in the mountains on the outskirts of Sapa, where the tranquil and soothing environment has helped me cultivate my inner 'Zen'. I am grateful for the compassion and warmth of my hostess, Miku; grateful that she allowed me to stay alone in a space facing the terraced fields of nature; grateful that I spent a week here on my meditation journey; grateful that Miku took me to her parents' home on the seventh day of the ***** New Year, a day of shared birthdays, to share the joy of family; grateful for all the blessings of the present moment; grateful to God for bestowing upon me such a simple yet blissful secluded life in the suburbs overseas; if I were to return, I would still insist on coming back to Miku Chill House to be a carefree practitioner in the mountains, living a carefree utopia 🥰"

"The accommodation was splendid, with a magnificent view of the rice paddies – very immersive. It was spotlessly clean, and the family was very kind. The only slight drawback was our arrival: we had to wait because the family wasn't there yet, but eventually, one of the children took care of us after a while. They also have very cute and fun animals that we could play with – it was fantastic! By far the best accommodation I've ever stayed in in terms of immersion!"

Muong Hoa Eco Villa ★★★
"The scenery was truly beautiful! Be careful when trying to grab a ride, as there are other hotels with the same or similar names. Also, it's quite a distance from Sapa, so it's hard to find a ride there. I think the best option is to walk down for about 15 minutes where you can find motorbike drivers and negotiate a price with them. I was amazed by the views from the pool every day, and the male staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful! 🥰"

MT House Sa Pa - Mountain & Terraced fields View And Trekking Tour ★★★
"A beautiful location. Tucked away out of the hustle and bustle of Sa Pa. Nestled in the rice terraces. Peaceful, quiet, and simple. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The food service is a little slow, but the food is definitely cooked fresh and worth the wait I thought. Everyone was very friendly and attentive to our requests. We would recommend this homestay and will stay here again."

En Hotel Sapa ★★★
"Our stay at En Sapa Hotel was a memorable and calming experience, set against one of the most beautiful backdrops Sapa has to offer. The surrounding atmosphere is truly special. Watching clouds drift through the mountains was breathtaking and created a peaceful, almost magical feeling throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and designed with guest comfort in mind. Everything felt quiet, cosy, and relaxing, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. A special mention goes to Albert, the owner of the hotel. His commitment to excellent customer service really stood out. He took the time to listen carefully to our concerns, showed genuine understanding, and worked toward providing solutions. His calm, respectful, and hands-on approach made us feel valued as guests and reflected his passion for hospitality. To make this hotel a true gem, there are just a couple of small areas for improvement. Communication with some staff can be challenging at times, and the buffet breakfast could benefit from a wider variety of options. Addressing these would elevate the overall experience even further. Overall, En Sapa Hotel offers stunning mountain views, clean and comfortable rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere that allows you to fully enjoy Sapa. With Albert’s dedication and a few refinements, this hotel has the potential to be an outstanding place to stay."

La Beauté Sa Pa ★★
"Our stay at La Beauté Sa Pa was more than just a place to sleep — it was a beautiful part of our journey. The homestay itself was charming, clean, and thoughtfully designed, but what truly made it special was the feeling of warmth and care that welcomed us from the very first moment. Huong was more than a host — they were like a friend, someone who genuinely cared about our experience. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to share local tips made us feel not like guests, but like we belonged. It’s rare to find a place that leaves you with more than just good memories — this stay gave us a sense of connection, comfort, and peace that we’ll carry with us long after the trip ends. Thank you for creating such a meaningful space. We’ll always remember it — and we hope to return one day."

Belle Maison Sapa Resort & Spa - Formerly Sapa Eco Villas & Spa ★★★★
"The view from my room window truly exceeded all expectations. In the early morning, drawing back the curtains revealed sprawling terraced fields along a river, where golden rice paddies beautifully contrasted with lush green mountains on both sides—an absolutely stunning sight. You can take a leisurely walk along the river and through the terraced fields, truly immersing yourself in the beauty of nature and the peaceful tranquility of the countryside. This place isn't recommended for those who prefer a lively nightlife, as it's relatively far from the town center. However, if you appreciate natural landscapes, I highly recommend staying here. The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast."

Sapa Ta Van Desi House - Mountain View & Hiking Tours ★★★
"Great location in a lovely village, the staff were very helpful in booking us a taxi to leave. All in all a nice stay, however the rooms are very cold with no radiator and a slightly rubbish electric blanket. Also to get to the toilet you have to go outside and to go to the showers you have to go outside and go downstairs. So okay as a stay but defo not too comfy."
