"We were very pleased with our stay at AVI Guesthouse! The owner is very kind and hospitable, and the staff are pleasant and attentive. From the very first moments, you feel completely comfortable – everything is cozy, homey, and with guests' comfort in mind. I'd also like to specifically mention the delicious breakfasts – everything was fresh and filling. We were given detailed explanations of where the reef was, the best places to go, and what to see, so it was easy to navigate and plan our time. The room itself was also very nice and cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you for such a warm welcome and atmosphere! We would gladly stay here again."

"This is one of best places to stay at Thoddoo island. We’ve been told that Thoddoo is one of the few natural islands with an hour boat ride from the capital Male. This guest house has friendly staff with a nice, modern and clean room. There is a small pool within the vicinity and a nice 10-15min walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants around the area too. Definitely a memorable experience."

"I'll mention the only downside right away: the hotel doesn't respond to calls on trip. The number listed is for some surf school in the Maldives. I was able to find contact information only through people who had previously stayed at this hotel. Otherwise, everything is very good. It's a fairly quiet street, and there are no construction sites nearby. The only noise is from a neighbor's rooster 🙂 Pleasant indoor area. A table next to each room. Bicycles and snorkeling gear are available, so it's convenient if you don't have your own and don't want to buy one. Breakfast is either continental or local, and the fruit selection varies. Everything is delicious; I didn't get tired of it after four days. The location is closer to Sunrise Beach; another one is a 15-minute walk away, so it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, the hotel is excellent."

"Nice and clean hotel, we chose it because of the pool. But there was no opportunity to swim, because it is not looked after and not cleaned. The first three days there was a buffet breakfast, then portioned and with waiting. The room was cleaned every day, all the staff are nice, except for the manager. He smiles, but is a very unpleasant guy."

"Guest house with family drive with Maria that makes exceptional dishes every day. Bike always available to reach the two wonderful beaches. We were also lucky because in 14 days of stay we only got 2 hours of rain despite the period was not the best. I strongly advise you to come to this guest house for excellent price quality haircut Room cleaning nearby shops A great thankfulness to all the staff that made us feel like at home. A goodbye to us soon (I hope)"

"Very good small hotel with excellent price-quality ratio. Comfortable and quiet home atmosphere. Fine feed, good cleaning, always go to the opposite. Dinner and dinner can be ordered in the hotel (never regretted), it turns out cheaper than in the nearby cafe. To any beach 7-10 minutes walk. A separate thank you to the host of the Adil Hotel for an organized tour of the boat (swimming with sharks and mantants, sandy crust, magnificent coral reef). "

"The hotel is new, with high-quality renovations in the room, including plumbing and electronics. However, there were no adapters for the outlets. But the hotel renovations weren't fully completed. The staff was friendly and listened to our requests. The manager is very involved in the hotel's operations and attentive. Cons: 1) the breakfasts lack variety, 2) the towels aren't washed well, which makes them smelly, 3) the room cleaning wasn't thorough; they simply swept the floor, changed the towels, and made the bed. In other words, the bathroom and plumbing weren't cleaned. I also noticed that my manicure set was touched during cleaning."

"We stayed in October 2025. We liked the guesthouse for its bright, clean entrance area and the friendly staff. The manager is always on hand and courteous. The establishment has seven rooms, all cozy, quiet, and family-like. Each room has a table and chairs. There's a kitchenette with a microwave, stovetop, and 24-hour tea and coffee. The owner comes to the guesthouse several times a day to inquire about the guests' moods and needs. The beach towels are good. Upon arrival on the island, we were met at the port by an electric car and escorted back."

"Very cozy gesture house with an inner courtyard under the roof. One of the closest locations to the beach of Bikini Beach. Clean. Bed is very large and comfortable. Air conditioning is new and powerful. The bathroom is beautifully decorated and the shelves of the onxe (impressed). And the price for the room is quite acceptable compared to other hotels on the island. Breakfast is good in the form of a buffet. There is a local and continental breakfast. I always chose local because local pancakes and coconut with tuna are beautiful. Also took dinner here and never regretted. More likely the first two days went to the local cafe, but there you have to wait, there are local men sitting and smoke a lot. And here on the spot made for a good price the delicious dinners - every day fresh fish barbecue (red sneeper, wahu, etc.), dessert, and chick of fresh fruit. The host organizes a tour of mant and sharks, at a price much more attractive than Anatoly. In short - go and enjoy the beautiful Maldives beach! The hotel is excellent."
