"I highly recommend this hotel. What I liked best was the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. The hotel staff helped me book the speedboat for the island transfer, excursions, etc., and were always very helpful. The rooms were very clean. Bottled water was provided and could be refilled as needed. The breakfast was delicious and varied."

"The only good thing about this guesthouse is the location. The rooms we were given were filthy, moldy, and completely overpriced. The linens and towels were dirty, and the entrance looked like an abandoned building. A staff member even admitted these rooms are almost never used, but we got them because all others were full — even though we booked and paid a deposit two weeks in advance. If we had known the conditions, we would never have stayed here."

"Modest but very nice hotel. The room was clean with good A/C, shower and bed. Our room was the last one on a row so it was very quiet and peaceful (a whole little island was pretty quiet though). Breakfast was bit poor but worked well anyways. Mohammed kept good care of us and other guests. He was always ready to help. It was also possible to book different day trips through the hotel. Also transport to/from a local harbour was arranged by the hotel. We were very satisfied with Sun & Surf. What could have been better….well, there was a safety box in the room but it was not fixed anywhere so who ever could have walked out with it!! Also a little fridge would be nice in a room. Cold drinks are must in the heat of the Maldives."

"I recently stayed at Dhoadhi Retreat with my daughter for a little mum & daughter getaway, and it honestly turned out to be such a wholesome and peaceful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, cozy, and welcoming. The guesthouse has such a soft and relaxing atmosphere, and the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and beautifully prepared. My daughter absolutely loved the stay, and as a mum, that meant everything to me. We also really appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and the delicious breakfast every morning, it made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to Prashant and Sakthi for being so kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our trip. They genuinely made our stay feel so much better and made us feel at home the entire time. If you’re looking for a peaceful island escape with beautiful vibes and warm hospitality, I truly recommend Dhoadhi Retreat. We left with such happy memories and would absolutely love to come back again someday 🤍"

"A very cute guesthouse! It's like a dacha by the sea. The beach is a three-minute walk away. The guesthouse is clean and quiet, everything works, and there are lots of flowers. Free coffee, tea, and water. The bed is comfortable and huge. The shower is warm. The air conditioner cools beautifully. Rafik is very responsive to any requests or questions. Highly recommended!"

"Batuta is located right on the main beach and offers basic comfortable accommodation. Breakfast was offered everyday on the beach and was a great way to start the day with fresh fruit, an omlet and toast. The staff were friendly and are really well connected to organise tours and activities on the island especially last minute when other operators were canceling they were reliable and great value for money"

"Terrible mouldy accommodation which is particularly unsuitable for families with children. The rooms leak, are moldy, the air conditioning smells. We were supposed to spend 7 nights here but lasted 2 and had to flee. BUT the OWNER STOOD UP to us, acknowledged the horror and refunded all our money for the nights we decided not to stay at the Dream inn."

"Our experience at Wave Crest was terrible. They basically stole €100 from us. We had booked three nights, but due to unforeseen circumstances related to the airspace closure, we had to cancel the last one. Instead of refunding part of the money for the night we didn't use, they kept the entire amount. We explained the situation to them several times, and they completely ignored us instead of trying to find a solution, even though they were the only ones who could accept the refund. On top of that, the room smelled awful. And to top it all off, in the morning they told us they would come to pick us up and take us to the ferry, but no one showed up. We were on the other side of the island and almost missed the ferry. We only managed to get there thanks to another employee. Very unprofessional, zero empathy, and a very disappointing experience. We absolutely do not recommend it."

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is great, with easy access to the beach, shops, and surf spots. Transfers and excursions were wel organized, which made our stay stress-free. Overall, great value for money and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
