Toyooka Sky Hotel ★★
"Overall it's OK, it's close to the station, breakfast is a Japanese set breakfast, you can try it, it's OK, Japan is relatively clean, no bottled water is provided"
Sennennoyu Koman ★★★★
"We had a lively sta here. We were pleasantly surprised to be met on the doorstep by the staff of the ryokan on arrival. There is a free bus from the train station to the ryokan, and they also organized a return trip to the station on departure. The staff were very helpful, bringing our luggage to our room, and providing us with general information about the area and activities. The room was a Japanese styled room. It’s large and comfortable enough for four of us. Hot and cold drinking water was also provided. They rolled out the futon beds for us in the evenings when we were at the Onsens. A free pass is provided for all the public baths, as well as yukatas and towels. I would also recommend the dinner at the ryokan. The meal was very substantial and delicious. Price was reasonable."
Toyooka Park Hotel ★★
"The food (breakfast) and service were both excellent, and I plan to return next month."
Mikuniya ★★★
"A very comfortable stay! It's just a 3-minute walk from the station, and from the moment we stepped in, the staff took wonderful care of us. Dinner in the room was delicious, and the private onsen, which doesn't require a reservation, was absolutely perfect – much more comfortable than the public baths. We made sure to use it as many times as we could. If any friends come to Kinosaki Onsen, I'll definitely recommend they stay here!"
Sinonomesou ★★★
"The hotel is located on a side street and takes a while to find. The staff speaks English, so there were no problems. There is parking, but it's a 15-minute walk away. Overall, it's worth staying here again."
HOTEL LiVEMAX Toyooka ★★★
"The rooms we were given were all right by the elevators, which made them quite noisy. Other than that, everything was pretty standard, so it was an acceptable stay overall."
Kinosaki Yamamotoya ★★★
"The service is enthusiastic and the environment is good, but the food and beverage is barely okay in the evening, but not in the morning."
Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Highland ★★★
"Clean place, very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel doesn’t have restaurant but staff will guide you to nearest restaurant for dinner."
Kawaguchiya Kinosaki Riverside Hotel ★★★★
"This onsen hotel has its own hot spring and sauna, and they even offer free tickets to a nearby onsen. I tried the half-board service (dinner and breakfast included), and it was a great experience. The price was also very reasonable."

Toyooka Green Hotel Morris
"Since my flight back to Tokyo was from Tajima Airport, I was torn between staying in Kinosaki Onsen or Toyooka the night before. However, I chose Toyooka because I wanted two rooms in a hotel, no meals included, a large public bath, and the option to eat out. I had never heard of Toyooka before, but it was the first result in my search. I checked in at 5:30 PM, and the front desk was staffed by four people and seemed quite lively. I figured there must be business travelers because of its proximity to the airport. The room was spacious, and the card key entry was convenient. I also appreciated being able to choose my preferred pillow. Newspapers and free drinks were provided."
Matsuya
"Dinner was great. Since we were going to other hot springs, the complimentary large towels provided per person were a bit insufficient; additional large towels were available at an extra cost. Overall, very satisfied! 👍"
Hotel Kinparo
"Hotel Kinparo is indeed the star of this trip. Location is a little far from Kinosaki Onsen and knowing a little Japanese when u contact the hotel will be great. They can arrange to pick u up from JR Kinosakionsen station. Recommend the ocean view room as it is absolutely relaxing to hear the seagulls and waves after a soak in their public baths. Their Kaisenki is also worth a special mention. The delicately prepared dinner and breakfast is buffet style. Very soul recuperating stay that is always from the majority of tourist. Please also be mindful of the local Onsen rules when visiting, so to preserve this place for more to enjoy."
Guesthouse Kinosaki Wakayo - Hostel, Caters to Women
"The hostess is warm and hospitable, and it is not suitable to bring large luggage. The luggage has to be moved to the second floor. The beds and quilts are all self-service, and the bathroom and toilet are all shared outside. The price is fair and the price is high. This is my second stay."
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kinosaki
"A bit far from public onsen but not too hard for waking. Dinner & breakfast were buffeted by variety style. The hotel onsen was very beautiful and their facilities were great. Luv this hotel ❤️❤️❤️❤️."
Kinosaki Onsen Hanakouji Saigetsu
"Fabulous and beautiful hotel Hotel Onsen is great and staff were wonderful making it a perfect stay. The food in the evening was so well prepared and included all of the regional specialities with crab and oysters. Fun to walk the streets and enjoy the public Onsens for a true Japanese’s experience. We were so lucky to also be there for Autumn festival !"
Tsubakino Ryokan
"A very good location right across family mart and nearest to Di Yu Tang. Right adjacent is a bbq, seafood cafe. Overall, it is a very well maintained ryokan majority of their floor is tatami. Which also means u cannot roll ur cabin size in its premises. Their staff will help u carry it to ur room. We are only given 1 key to our room despite we are husband and wife and going to different male and female public baths. This is not too thoughtful. Hence it will be wise to deliver ur luggage and travel light to Kinosaki Onsen. The Kaisenki is above average. Nonetheless it is a very comfortable stay."
Tsuki No Shizuku Ryokan
"A Japanese-style hot spring hotel, the private hot springs are particularly great. clean."
Kinosaki Onsen Tokitotoki
"The location is very good. It is right next to Jizo-yu. The service is very good. Snacks are provided from the moment you check in. There are snacks all the way until after you take a bath in the evening. I like to sit on the third floor to drink tea the most. It is very comfortable. The service staff is very nice. I highly recommend it. It is worth it."
Kojinmari
"The town is not big, and it is only a short walk from the station to the hotel, or from shopping to hot springs. Personally, I feel that this B&B is the most unique in town, with a small bridge and flowing water right outside the window. The facilities inside the house are exactly the same as the introduction pictures. The host family is warm and thoughtful, and communicated the arrival and departure time in advance. Since we only stayed for one day, the host marked the recommended hot springs on the map, as well as their opening hours. The izakaya they recommend is also great. nice location, considerate host, and a lovely town to immerse in the culture of onsen."
Yuraku Kinosaki Spa & Gardens
"Very good Ryokan with several nice private onsens. The staff and service were EXCEPTIONAL. We were treated like royal guests. Rooms were quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. Only negative was the long walk to the center of the town/street."
Shinzan Kinosaki
"The hotel is far from the center of the city. You have to take the hotel bus to city.. The check out time is too early. Breakfast and dinner are too ordinary."
Onishiya Suishoen
"What a wonderful place! We booked one night here to really soak in the Japanese atmosphere and nature. Many people say the location is far from the city center, but it's actually only about a 10-minute drive, plus they offer a shuttle service to and from the center. Dinner was luxurious, especially if you love seafood and fish. That evening, we got to try so many things we hadn't tasted before. They provide yukatas and special slippers, and everyone walks around the village in them, which really makes you feel connected. Unfortunately, we didn't get to visit all the onsens, but this place definitely left the biggest impression on us from our entire trip! Oh, and they have massage chairs and foot massagers too!"
Kinosaki Onsen Nishimuraya Hotel Shogetsutei
"Overall, a wonderful place. We highly recommend it. It was a wonderful walk from the station to the hotel, and we were greeted with the utmost courtesy, explained everything, and shown around. We were shown to our room and given instructions. We booked a traditional room with futons, and the view from the window was simply stunning. The onsen includes two hot springs, a comfortable changing area with massage chairs, a sauna, and a cold plunge pool. They give free passes to seven public baths in the village. There's a shuttle that takes you to various walking spots. The prices are reasonable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We were very satisfied and would love to come back!"
