The fact that it rained most of the time didn't bother us much, especially because of the beautiful hotel."

The hotel has a great location with parking. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the former home of Marx. It is worth mentioning that the former residence of Marx is directly opposite a red tavern. Go in and see the people, things, and wine that have been broadcast on the Internet..."

I was not reconciled and returned! The hotel’s breakfast is good and rich, as well as instant noodles. When checking in, the front desk asked the hotel to email the reservation form received when booking the hotel, and emphasized the importance. This 20-day trip to Germany is the only one that needs to send a reservation form to the hotel. Please pay attention to check-in"

"This hotel is located on the opposite side of the rail tracks, Hbf, or the Altstadt, making there will be challenging for those don't like 15mins walking, and especially if you have a lot of luggages or if it's raining/snowing. Maybe it's catered for tour groups or people driving. My room is located on the ground floor, which looks on the plan are mostly the wheelchair accessible rooms (shower toilet bigger than the bedroom). Not much amenities so be sustainable and bring your own. Self-service buffet, not luxury, but adequate for the day. Staff are polite and helpful."

No. 7 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Rhineland-Palatinate"We arrived at 11 o'clock in the evening, and there was a little brother waiting for us. The suite in the room was great. But there is a German aunt at the front desk. Great murder, we went to dinner in the morning, said that there was no reservation for children, shouting at the restaurant. When I checked out, I went to pay the bill. I had to say that the four of us had charged us 200 euros. In fact, we had two adults with a 12-year-old child. After I explained to her, she changed the fee, but she had a bad attitude. We were in-house guests and were not enemies. This hotel is the best hotel in the town, there is such a front desk, sorry!"

"Pros: Short walk from the Central Station, directly opposite the Porta Nigra, within short walking distance from the main tourist sites and many dining options nearby. Its location is unparalleled
Cons: As pointed out by other reviewers, room and furniture is very outdated. There is only a bath-tub to take a shower so do note if one has mobility issue. Biggest issue for me was the pillows: it was so soft I got a neck-ache after 2 nights, and the air-con was not working during a relatively warm summer, fortunately the window could be opened, otherwise it would have been a disaster!!!"

It offers a unique atmosphere with a panoramic view over the Roman monuments and the Moselle valley.
Living in the rock - close to town - close to nature - by the river
The house is located in Roman street, part of Via Grippa. This was built by the Romans and leads from Trier via the Eifel to Cologne. The Felsenhaus is over 100 years old and was completely restored in 2008. Trier's typical sandstone rocks form the back wall on all levels of the house and give the unique character. The 80 m2 of living space spread over 3 open levels, which are connected by stairs.
Ground floor: dining room, bathroom and kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, water cooker, Senseo coffee machine, fridge and freezer)
1. Upper floor: living room with panoramic view (TV, games corner with books and games). Here a third or fourth person can comfortably sleep on a sofa bed.
Second Upper floor: gallery with sleeping area.
You can use all the rooms of the freestanding house. There is also a private terrace and a bicycle garage.
The Felsenhaus is not barrier-free. The rooms are distributed on different levels.

Living in the rock - close to town - close to nature - by the river
The house is located in Roman street, part of Via Grippa. This was built by the Romans and leads from Trier via the Eifel to Cologne. The Felsenhaus is over 100 years old and was completely restored in 2008. Trier's typical sandstone rocks form the back wall on all levels of the house and give the unique character. The 80 m2 of living space spread over 3 open levels, which are connected by stairs.
Ground floor: dining room, bathroom and kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, water cooker, Senseo coffee machine, fridge and freezer)
1. Upper floor: living room with panoramic view (TV, games corner with books and games). Here a third or fourth person can comfortably sleep on a sofa bed.
Second Upper floor: gallery with sleeping area.
You can use all the rooms of the freestanding house. There is also a private terrace and a bicycle garage.
The Felsenhaus is not barrier-free. The rooms are distributed on different levels.
